a brand experience centre SEMESTER 10 : Prof. Yatin Moghe LOCATION : Chinchwad, India . A Centre which introduces to the public what the brand really is, Its principles, its achievements, its future prospectus and mostly taking the visitors through an experience – An experience of its glorious past. This is where the corporate goes into a dialogue with its customers, friends and visitors from all over the world – a place of experiencing, of meeting and of change. This is where we bridge the gap between the users and the designers of the space by spreading what is most needed in our country - Design Sensibility Awareness This centre would help leave a strong positive impression on the minds of its visitors and thus help in its Brand Building. It would promote the brand yet not endorse it. To cater to each economic group that relate to the brand, sales would not take place from this centre. It aims to be a day trip venue for families and people of all age groups where they could spend a day playing games, visiting a museum, test driving cars, watching movies, shopping, eating and much more. All this with indirectly developing an affinity, a strong connection with the brand. The centre would help in creating a experience conceptualized as sensations, feelings, cognitions and behavioural responses evoked by brand-related stimuli that are part of a brand's design and identity, packaging, communications and environments. The centre would mainly distinguish several experience dimensions and construct a brand experience scale that includes four dimensions: sensory, interactive, intellectual and behavioural. The brand experience centre affects consumer satisfaction and loyalty directly and indirectly through brand personality associations.

The city centre aims at creating an identity for the city. It is designed for the citizens of the city as well as the tourists who visit Pune in large numbers. It will cater to all the economic groups and all age groups. It will provide a space for social gatherings, interactions will take place between all the sections of the society. The city centre will be a one stop centre catering to all the needs. Sarasbaug : With pavillions for activities, an amphitheatre for larger programs, easier access to the Temple and rehabilitation of Chowpatty and designated places for the hawkers attempts to make Sarasbaug more user friendly. Peshwe Park : A longer toy train track, a bal bhavan, an amphitheatre, a lake for boat rides and play area makes Peshwe Park a perfect destination for children. Sanas Ground : This is a place for people to come for refreshment—whether for food available from vendors and retail spaces, quiet reflection of art displayed in public areas or on gallery walls, rest at vantage points providing views of the street and open space; meeting and people watching, or seeking a variety of other services catering to City employees, the general public, and people with special needs. a residential project SEMESTER 7 : Prof. Yatin Moghe, Asst. Prof. Mahesh Bangad LOCATION : Pune, India This Project was a Residential Scheme with160 Tenements - 80 1bhk, 40 2bhk and 40 3bhk along with 8 row houses. The design exercise follows all the development control rules and Corporation norms and was dealt realistically consuming the complete available FSI The layout follows a strict geometry, and three main axes. The row houses are located at the entrance yet buffered by secondary roads and a green buffer. This creates a different community for the row houses yet keeping them a part of the main society. The central open space, about 14 percent of the total site houses many amenities for the residents. Interaction spaces in each building house smaller activities such as reading spaces etc.

ront yard of any house in India is where the maximum activities take place, from reading the morning newspaper to receiving guests, this space has multiple utilities. Not just in high end bungalows but also in small chawls or wadas, this space is equally used and desired by everybody. As this isn’t available in apartments at large, an attempt to make this space a part of every home is made. Also, this space along with intermediate interaction spaces would help increase the spirit of neighbourliness which is being compromised due to the hectic work schedules of all the individuals.

a heritage resort SEMESTER 6 : Prof. Yatin Moghe LOCATION : Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India While on our tour to Delhi-Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Gwalior we first visited our Site, i.e. Gujari Mahal. Once a Palace to the Queen, its now a historical Museum. With ample space in its surroundings its located at the foothill of the Gwalior Fort. Making use of the premium vantage point and the royal precinct, I have tried to make the Guests experience the royalty with the modern day facilities. This 22 key hotel is a proposed Three Star property. The form was derived from translating the qualities of the king and the queen into lines.

performing arts centre SEMESTER 5 : Prof. Yatin Moghe LOCATION : Pune, India This proposal was aimed at learning how to transform an element of nature into a structure by using its qualities and shape. It was dedicated to a Personality of our choice. I chose the nautilus seashell as the element and dedicated it to Marilyn Monroe. The centre consists of an Auditorium, Library, Museum, Halls for dance and drama etc.

23

MARILYN MONROE A Personality so charming, and alluring that Hollywood was brought to a standstill. Her quotes, her persona are things of influence that I wanted to present to the world. The forms used are hence strong, show transparency and have an element of surprise at every turn that take the visitors through an unforgettable journey.

THE NAUTILUS SEA SHELL The Nautilus is the only cephalopod to have a true external shell. The form itself has fascinated naturalists, physicists, and mathematicians for years. As the shell grows, its body moves into the next larger chamber and produces a wall to seal of the pervious chamber. Using this logic, the transition between each block and the walk through museum is a shell inside which they go through a simulation experience to set the mood and go to the next level.

24

Each block is designed in a way that it gets a semi open space alongside for the associated outdoor activities
