e’ve opened an extensive new studio showroom space, and you’re invited! To mark the 20th year of angela adams as a leading American design company, we’ve established a new flagship Studio Showroom in Portland, Maine. The fully renovated mid century warehouse is located in the entrepreneurial East Bayside neighborhood. The added space and new location allows the angela adams design studios, showroom, furniture shop, warehouse and offices to all operate under one roof on the Portland peninsula. Our new larger space and custom layout provides the perfect place to continue developing the original angela adams design story, adding enough space to showcase the work of other well established Maine artists, and the ability to show design enthusiasts the behind-the-scenes processes of a design company known nationally for hand crafted textiles and furniture.

We invite you to visit us and take a personal, exclusive tour of our new Studio Showroom. Make a weekend of exploring the places and things that make Portland, Maine unique— a vibrant coastal community of artists, families, creatives, foodies and the working waterfront that firmly embraces the can-do spirit that make this place both a destination and way of life. Please contact me via email at jpfueller@angelaadams.com or call 207-613-1825 to set up a tour. I would be happy to show you the space, provide introductions to our team, and share our favorite places to see and do during your visit. There’s no better place to be in the summer than the coast of Maine! I look forward to hearing from you and sharing our design story in the exciting new space. Happy Summer! Jenna Pfueller Marketing and Design Manager

“Our new Studio Showroom allows us the additional space to show fine art, handmade textiles and handcrafted furniture the way they deserve to be seen, with surroundings that allow the work to stand on its own. --Angela Adams

Taking inspiration from 1920s writer’s offices, each of the hotel’s exquisite 110 guest rooms and suites feature a vintage-styled journalist desk, wood floors with herringbone area rug, and 100% local artwork, including a woven wall tapestry by Angela Adams. The historic building boasts oversized windows in every guestroom, providing natural light and fresh Maine air during your stay. Playful newsroom references abound, including thought-provoking quotes and occasional one-liners in the most unexpected places. 119 Exhange Street, Portland, ME 04101

STAY

Since opening its doors in 1988, the once-humble family eatery has gone on to garner national attention for its refined cuisine. At the top of Portland’s Old Port in the burgeoning India Street neighborhood, Hugo’s marks the division between the old and new, embracing tradition innovation. Now in its third generation of ownership, Hugo’s continues to improve. With intellectual curiosity and modern technique driving the process, our ingredients are farmed, fished and foraged almost exclusively here in Maine, reflecting the dramatic seasonal shifts of Northern New England. 88 Middle Street, Portland, Maine 04101
