Could you be a Digital Buddy?! Local charity Link Age Southwark are seeking volunteers with good IT skills to support older people to improve their digital skills and keep connected online. This can include trouble shooting technical issues, setting up new tech, installing hardware, helping with online shopping, or creating an email account for someone. They need volunteers to provide this support at either a drop-in session in the East Dulwich area on a weekly basis, at a monthly group in East Dulwich or in the older person’s home. Training will be provided but you will need to have a good understanding of IT as a basis. If you would like to know more, please contact Melissa at volunteering@linkagesouthwark.org or call 020 8299 2623.
