Monday 24 January: Building Self-esteem for Teenagers
7pm-8pm. While most young people lack confidence at some point for those with low self-esteem this can stop them from engaging in activities and have an impact on their sense of self. This can be especially difficult for those already experiencing extra challenges for example Dyslexia or ADHD. In this session, we will explore self-esteem and how young people can be impacted. Learn strategies you can use right away to start developing teenagers' confidence and self-worth. We will share further resources to utilise after the session. Building self-esteem and confidence is like any muscle it needs to be developed and used to get stronger. This session is aimed at parents/caregivers & those working with young people, although young people are also welcome to join. Bell House, 27 College Road, London, SE21 7BG.
