Top Tips for Exams for Dyslexic Students, Wednesday 18th March, 7.00pm A lively and interactive presentation showcasing top tips for exam preparation for students with dyslexia. It will aim to inspire students to prepare effectively for the exam season ahead. Old, Middle, Modern: Chaucer as the turningpoint in the story of English pronunciation, Friday 20th March, 7.30pm David Crystal, the foremost writer and lecturer on the English language illustrates the development of pronunciation from Old English (Beowulf) through Middle English (Chaucer) to Early Modern English (Shakespeare). Never Weather-Beaten Saile: A concert to mark the sailing of the Mayflower, Saturday 21st March, 7.30pm In a London premiere, the Friends' Musick chamber choir concert will mark the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, telling the story of the fateful voyage in words and music. Exhibition: 100 years of Southwark council housing, Saturday 21st – Sunday 29th March In association with the Dulwich Society. Celebrate 100 years since the Addison Act allowed the building of 'Homes Fit for Heroes', with this free exhibition. Complementing the exhibition will be free guided walks on Sunday 22nd at 2pm and 3.30pm and a free talk on Sunday 29th March at 2.30pm. How to Age Joyfully, Tuesday 24th March, 7.00pm Come and hear Maggy Pigott talking about her book ‘How to Age Joyfully: Eight Steps to A Happier, Fuller Life’, a concise and uplifting guide on how to add life to our years, as well as years to our life. Her Found Language: An International Women's Day Celebration, Thursday 26th March, 7.30pm Bell House is proud to present an evening of uplifting and original poetry that celebrates the female voice in all its variations.
