Alasdair Roberts, Bird Radio & Buckner Building @The Ivy House
7pm - 11pm. The Goose Is Out! returns to The Ivy House for our first concert since February 2020, and we are delighted to welcome the brilliant Alasdair Roberts back, this time performing solo! Alasdair’s music is constantly changing and evolving, and his last album was deservedly chosen by The Guardian as one of the ten best folk albums of 2020. Bird Radio is a singer, flautist and composer based in London. He experiments with songwriting, extended flute technique, live looping and performance in different ways. Buckner Building are Naomi Graham and Fritha Jenkins. Using violin, recorders, vocals and field recordings, they make music that has been described as ‘unsettling alternative folk’. We will be making every effort to ensure that this concert is Covid-safe. Tickets and list of Covid precautions at: www.thegooseisout.com. Tickets will also be available on the door if not sold out, but we are reducing numbers to 70% of our normal capacity as part of our Covid precautions.
