Friday 1 April: Live Band Karaoke

7pm -11pm at Ivy House, 40 Stuart Road, London, SE15 3BE - Belt out classics from Dolly Parton to Metallica, live on stage, backed by a sensational 5 piece band, in front of an electric crowd at Peckham Rye's historic Ivy House. Pick from around 300 tunes. Lyrics are provided on screen, and our compere will be on stage with you to provide additional support and / or add those critical backing vocals. Saturdays 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 April: parkruns in Dulwich Park and Peckham Rye Park

9am-10am. Free, weekly timed 5k run, jog or walk. Every Saturday at 9am promptly starting from Queen Mary’s Gate (Dulwich Park) and Colyton Road Entrance (Peckham Rye Park). Register once and bring your printed barcode (can be used at any parkrun across the world). First-timers briefing at 08.50.

Saturday 2 April: Wigwam Toy Shop Easter Craft

10am – 1pm. Our Easter Crafts are back! Join us for a morning of making Easter cards and crafts. The event is free. No booking required. Parents are asked to stay with their children and join in on the creative fun. Wigwam Toy Shop, 109 Rosendale Road, SE21 8EZ

Saturday 2 April – Smartphone Filmmaking

10am – 4pm: A one-day workshop, ‘Smartphone Filmmaking’ will introduce people to the fundamental concepts of filmmaking and provide them with the tools they need to be able to shoot their own films on their smartphone. The workshop will be a hands-on, active event, where attendees will continually put into practice the principles they are learning, such as exposure, lighting, sound, framing, planning your shoot and editing. You don’t need experience, you don’t need expensive kit, you just need a smartphone and your own creativity and curiosity. All attendees should bring their own lunch, a smartphone, and a smartphone charger. Attendees should also download the editing app Premiere Rush or iMovie (both of which are free). Complementary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Tickets are £80 but if you are in full time education tickets are £50. Saturday 2 April: Bell House Open Garden

11:30am – 1pm: Bell House is opening its garden for visitors to explore. The Walled Garden comprises of raised beds filled with kitchen essentials grown organically. The House Garden features a rose garden and woodland walk designed to attract wildlife and provide safe habitats. The gardens are a place of community learning, maintained by volunteers who promote gardening as an activity for physical and mental well-being. Arrive anytime between 11.30am and 12:45pm. Sundays 3, 10, 17 & 24 April: The weekly Horniman Market

10am–3pm. The weekly Horniman Market is open to provide food items including fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, bread, cake, meat and street food. Sunday 3 April: Copper Viper

Copper Viper are a vibrant exciting and British take on Americana , comprising prolific songwriter and guitarist Robin Joel Sangster, dynamic fiddle/mandolin player Duncan Menzies and banjo picker Dana Immanuel. They sing original and dynamic America in three part harmony, underpinned by guitar and fabulous mandolin. They marry haunting melodies and intricate vocal harmonies with searing instrumental passages to create a unique blend. Their debut album “Cut It Down, Count The Rings” flows smoothly between lyrical ballads and foot-stomping barnstormers, mixing melancholy, hope, tension and joy in equal measure. Monday 4 April– Friday 8 April: Kids Yoga, Art & Mindfulness Easter Class

9am-2.30pm. Laura is so excited to bring you one week of Yoga and Art fun in the Easter Holidays with herself (Primary school Teacher, Yoga Teacher and Art Teacher) and Daisy (Artist extraordinaire and Teacher Trainee!). Suitable for children aged 4 – 8 years. We will be based in Station Hall, Herne hill but we will also get outside into Brockwell Park to play, learn, discover, and create. There will be guided activities each day but also a big emphasis on play, exploration and free time to discover, which enables us as educators to spend time with your children individually.
