Thursday 5 – Tuesday 17 August: Journey Exhibition

11.30am-5.30pm. The Jeannie Avent Gallery presents ‘Journey’ A solo exhibition by local Conceptual Artist, Laura Hepworth

Through this life we live, we set ourselves on a never ending path. Making decisions and taking risks that change and affect the course of our path in ways that widen our way of thinking, dreaming and living. For each lesson we go through, we give ourselves the allowance to be open embracing, to feeling. Of the many things we feel on our own or even as a collective we experience growth, love, creativity, grace, hope, empathy etc.. Journey is the story we tell each day to put our stamp on the world, it’s the people we carry with us who support, empower and inspire us as we go on. Through colour and Mark making Laura creates a language in which her own energy is transformed from the way she takes in her surroundings wherever that might be, near or far, past or present. Join us on Thursday 5th August, where the gallery will be open to the public from 11:30am until late evening in celebration of the exhibition’s opening. Meet the artist, view the artwork Laura has created for her vibrant new collection. 14 North Cross Road, East Dulwich SE22 9EU.
