BRAMHALL GOLF CLUB SOCIAL NEWS

From humble beginnings as a farmhouse, The Bramhall Golf Club now offers a luxurious experience for all members and guests who come to visit. Our typical day consists of providing excellent service in the Ramsdale lounge, where our members come to relax. Whether you are wanting a coffee and a bacon barm, a couple of beers on the balcony after a successful day on the course, or to come and catch up with friends, we find that the lounge creates a great atmosphere for all. The Ramsdale lounge offers stunning views of the course and is where we provide high quality functions for up to 150 people. We host a range of events such as family parties, funerals and birthdays. With the ability for guests to host live music, combined with some excellent food we have provided a plethora of successful functions. The clubhouse was renovated in 2016, the objectives of this being to modernise the interiors to match the aspirations of the club. The house manager, Damon, has been key to the success of this transition and has been running an outstanding team for nearly four years. Alongside Damon is Head Chef Alan who boasts 23 years of golf club experience. Alan serves exceptional dishes which have received outstanding feedback since he joined the team earlier this year. The bar menu offers a selection of everyday favourites and light bites. However, our niche is the ever changing specials menu, which we tailor to the guests. Also, our function menus can range from five course fine dining to a selection of buffet options and sharing platters which are able to reflect the style of event that is required.

The covid period was difficult, as it was for many in the industry, however the secret to our success during and after the restrictions was down to our innovation and ability to adapt as a club. We embraced outdoor dining by setting up a marquee on the practice ground. This allowed us to give our members safe and consistent service and meant that we have been able to bounce back well after restrictions were lifted. In the future we aim to build upon our already great team, learn new skills and ensure that the clubhouse is worthy of a premier golf club!
