WEDNESDAY COFFEE CONCERT,

we open the doors for coffee at 10.15 and the recital begins at 11.am. The £10 admission charge includes refreshments. THE WEDNESDAY MATINEE SERIES

commences with the recital at 2.00 pm and is followed by refreshments. The admission charge is also £10 and includes the refreshments. They are on 18th May and 15th June. We also have a new venture starting this month. The church is open every Saturday from 10 am until 12 noon for coffee, and on the 4th Saturday we will be having piano recitals from 11.30 am. The musicians are all from the Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Murray McLachlan and for these recitals there will be no admission charge, but donations are requested. Recently, residents of Abney Court have enjoyed doing something different every day. Residents took part in a lively, ‘beat to the drum’ music and movement class, whilst others loved learning about British birds, taking part in a relaxing, observational bird painting session for the Big Garden Birdwatch.
