About Me Angela Goessner Communications Specialist
Growing up in Southeastern Wisconsin, with a family garden and a Grandmother who valued nutrient dense foods, I’ve been truly blessed to have an upbringing where I harvested and preserved plants. Besides having a love for agriculture as it relates to environmental and human health, I have a desire to communicate the knowledge I’ve gained and the knowledge of others through all forms of media. This desire led me to studying Graphic Design at Waukesha County Technical College, where I gained skills in creating content that resonates with the reader and maintaining brand consistency. Over the past two years a hunger to learn more about how plants grow and gain nutrients led me to soil biologist, Dr. Elaine Ingham, and her Soil Food Web School. Upon completing the SFW Foundation Courses I now strive to provide my time and talents towards the invaluable cause of amending our soils, as well as continuing my journey to learn more about agriculture and soil science.

Writing compelling stories to inform about the history of the USO, an organization that pioneered interfaith cooperation, along with progressing race relations through community efforts and civilian leadership in World War II.
Scheduling a content calendar on Google Sheets to organize and archive social media posts, in addition to utilizing portions of the Facebook Business Suite. Researching and collaborating with historical societies, libraries and universities for documents, photos, and other artifacts. Formatting and editing through applications such as Canva, Later, and Issuu to create easy navigation and visual resonance with each post.
