LABEL REDESIGN
The goal for this project was to re- design a label for a generic steak sauce brand. The steak sauce was bought at a ninety-nine cents store and later compared with the best steak sauce labels on the market.
For the steak sauce project the process was a little difficult. It was hard to come up with a design that could be easy for people to recognize and get familiar to. A lot of thought was put into the process to come up with the end result. Also, a pattern was added to give the western feeling to the sauce.
The mini menu fold that goes on the inside of the box with the rest of the steak sauce. It contains recipies for each different sauce. It has the sauce on the left and the recipie on the right with the steps. On the back of the menu it has the flame pattern.

BRANDING
The steps on the development for this project were a little different than the previous. color exploration and font exploration is basically the same as the other, trying to find the perfect fit and same as always. The different aspect about this one are the graphic models. It was done using the pencil tool. The decision to use that tool was becuase this project needed to be a little bit different that the others.

APPROVED
Poster with the history of the most iconic car in the world, the VW Bug. It shows two ways of how a car can get fixed or left to die. A sticker is put on the car that has the work of the machine workshop. The shape is in a form of a winners badge given at car shows.

ENVIRONMENTAL
The goal of this project is to make people aware of the contamination that is taken place of most of the beaches in the world. It is a campaign for people to begin picking up their trash when they go to the beach.
For this project, the process was a little easier. It is a subject that it is familiar and it was fun to work on it. For the slogan of the poster, a combination of type and image was combined to make it more dynamic. Also, it needed to represent movement, so it was decided to make them italic. The colors of the project needed to represent beach and trash in order to support the graphic models that the poster series would have along the set.
This is a website for the campaign displaying different information pages about the main focus and goals for the people to see.

PACKAGING
The goal for the project was to come up with an original logo for a beer from Tijuana. It needed to represent Mexican culture as well as the character that the beer has. The name of the beer is Mexican Curios, and is showing one of the most recognizable things from Tijuana, the famous donkey zebra from revolution street.
Steps for the development of this project needed to be fresh and represent Tijuana culture. First, an exploration of the name was done experimenting with different type families. Then, after some sketches, it was decided to mix the silhouette of a donkey-using font. The result was a unique a simple design that represented both culture and uniqueness for the taste of the beer.

INFOGRAPHICS
are we there yet?
Info graphics layout magazine contains three spreads with different situations that people encounter before crossing the border between Tijuana and San Diego. The first spread gives an overall view of the subject matter. Then, the second spread shows more in-depth information about what kind of people usually crosses the most. Finally, last spreads suggest different solutions on how people could cross faster
The process for the project required mainly a type solution because most of the spreads contain a lot of text. Also, color plays an important role because it has to give the viewer th power to absorb all of the Information. Vector images were explored in different angles to see witch one was the best for the graphic models. Finally, the charts that give away most of the Information was created using some icons from the vector drawings.

CAMPAIGN
The project consist of icon development for a campaign for SDSU students. The main purpose is to persuade students to buy local, walk to near places instead of waisting gas, and to eat healthy and local. The icons are place in different places of the facilities of SDSU.
The process for the project includes finding an actual leaf and turning it into a vector graphic. Then, in order to make it into a more succesful design, an abstract pattern was incorporated. There are three different disigns banners containing different messages for SDSU student alumini.
Sticker for students to place in their notebooks. Each of the sticker has one of the three different leafs.
Bus stop displaying posters for student that take the bus. The posters include messages for students.
Images of laptop covers and a book with ttwo different icons. These are the most usual things that a student uses at school therefore it is easier fro them to see.
The designs of the leafs are placed in different places that students use more frequently so the can remember the icons after a while and start doing what the messages say.

APPAREL
Print or die is a project about two screen printers with a small home based shop. The name is print or die becuase the shop is mainly screen print. Secondary comes graphic design, but it is also as important as printing. The project includes a series of custom T-shirt designs inspired by street art and music. Most of the designs include typographic experimentation with the words print or die.

Installation of some of the works. It is at a close space unlike the project watch your trash. It displays illustrations large enough for the audience to look at the details of each type treatment.
MAGAZINE LAYOUT
The graf mag, a magazine for street art and graffiti. The objective of the project was to design a magazine layout with images. To combine type and image. There are two articles and an interview displayed on a three-column grid trough out the magazine.
The process for the project was a little bit easier because it only needed to be text. As a result, mostly type explorations were done along the project. A grid system was also studied and finalized.
