In art, tools are needed to capture any moment. Tools are crucial and the best brands should be used. It is diff icult to tell which brand is the best, and it takes years of experience with all kinds of brands to f inally decide which is the best. properties of paper. Such as texture and finish, which can be described as glossy, bumpy, smooth, or ribbed. These play a big part in the way that paints and other substances work well with the paper and which ones should be applied to each one. Artistic paper also comes in different forms that make it easier to travel with. A few different types are paper pads, books, rolls, and loose sheets. As an artistic experience with paper expands. The thought of moving on to a different drawing layouts leads them to find canvases to be the next logical choice. A canvas is made of cotton or even

When an artist knows what artistic surface material he/ she wants to use. Then the next choice is what drawing material they will need next. Graphite is always the first choice since that is what most artist start off first with in their whole carrier. After they have enough experience with pencils the next are oil pastels, charcoal, color pencils, and drawing pens. There are many other tools drawing tools and endless tools. Paints, bushes, painting knifes, watercolors and so many other items the list can be endless. An

artist searches for many new ideas of how to create a masterpiece for either a job or for themselves to expand their knowledge. Life is an experience and art is one that can always keep an artist busy.
