An existing path is chosen as the prefered way to approach the area, and connect the two neighboring suburbs

The central spot of J채rvaf채ltet is at once accesible from both sides, but protected from traffic and noise.

As a first gesture, a scheme to light up the pathway. This was the locls will feel safe to cross it, and therefore they will start inhabiting the area.

To attract the locals to the central spot, two attractors are positioned. One is the renovation of the existing Eggeby Gard. The other a structure to be defined.

Each of these attractors are visible from respective inhabited area, so they become signals that there is something going on in the fields.

How would this empty field be inhabited? Is the only choice to “urbanize” the field with streets?
