The following pages include a selection of works that were done during 2012 to 2016, for Klubd Nicosia, Alternadiva, Just Wax Berlin, default, Square, Kathxhtiko, Hands-on Famagusta and some blinks from various experimentations.

This folding flyer was designed to promote klubd’s new season opening month. As the first piece of work that I did for the club, introduces this era of spatial visual codes that suggest a continuous research on creating ‘new kinds’ of spaces, with gravity and temperature variations. Every monthly flyer is followed by a series of single event flyers using the same design logic.

The following sets of e-flyers were done for single event promotion, following the design language of the main monthly program printed flyer of January. Tracing the outline of stones while creating a new dimension to its complexity by floating in space along with sets of data in a stable position. 02.1

Limited edition of 30 prints, poster for Klubd Season 6 closing, June 2014 For this season’s closing, a limited edition print of 30 was designed and delivered during the closing night. This piece combines the cad data of the previous months in a play of shadows and a state of minus gravity.

The introduction to the seventh year presents a two-month line-up standing on a frame of built and natural environment while subtracting a flat surface out of it, highlighting the continuous intersection of merging indoor and outdoor spatial qualities.

The beginning of season seven was also marked with a logo, designed to follow the year’s events, as the word ‘ΕΦΤΑ’ refers to number 7 in greek language and letters.

For the first off-season night, a wireframe truss structure was designed, standing right on the edges of the artboard, the letters ΟΦ show up, following the ‘ΕΦΤΑ’ logo design of the past season. The drawing suggests an environment of two support structures (truss and page edges), and two water inflated elements falling off the grid. 11.1 A3 Poster for Klubd Nicosia, June 2015

The following works were done for the ‘Alternadiva 440m’ two day music gathering held in the Cypriot mountains in September 2015. The setting was located into deep greenery underneath an abandoned metal ceiling structure. As the area consists of polymorphy, several shapes found on-site that were analyzed and were used on the digital and printed posters. Along with a mixture of eleven pre-set fonts shaping an entity between a living creature and a machine on the main poster, that was also expressed in a short animated gif.

‘Thick public waterfront’ is one of the three animations that were done for the interactive web platform www.handsonfamagusta.org, explaining ways to connect a privatized waterfront back to the public spaces of a post conflict city, using cut outs of paintings by Giorgio de Chirico, Rene Magritte, Henri Rousseau and renascence characters.

A poster designed for the first Alternadiva Showcase featuring a night of music and light beams. The main drawing consists of an altar to the goddess Alternadiva that was also presented in the form of an animated gif. 17 Poster for Alternadiva, March 2016

Alternadiva started as a team of djs and visual artists, in October 2012. As a co-founder and designer of the collective I created the logo, as the first image that would meet people’s eyes coming out of our four minds combined. The logo highlights the name’s first and last letters AA and establishes them as a future brief sign of the collective. The design process was a continuous loop between two dimensional and three dimensional drawing techniques exporting a result that stands as a 3D entity, whose spatial specifications cannot be described at first sight.

19 Web page design for Alternadiva, May 2016

This design was created to promote a new series of music daytime events in Nicosia in May 2016, named ‘ΚΑΤΗΧΗΤΙΚΟ’. On the back side introducing the logo of the team, while the front side is presenting the aura of the event’s outdoor space that consists of plants and water elements, merged together with the rough urban environment. The lack of data on the design tries to create a strong sense of what the upcoming events will be, in terms of solid aesthetics of space, music and vision.
