POINTS OF PICK-UP  For all persons who wish to fly, the point of pick-up is the Roberts International Airport (RIA). N.B And please, all delegations/persons who want to fly should contact the CC TEAM to inform them about their arrival 24H before the trip.  For all persons who wish to come by road, we will have TWO (2) points of pick-up.  First point of pick-up: For all those that come from/pass through Guinea or Ivory Coast (Border: Gbeunta), they are expected to reach « RED LIGHT ».  Second point of pick-up: For all those that come from/pass throught Sierra-Leone are expected to reach « DUAL A ».

The current exchange rate in LIBERIA is $ 80 LD (Liberian Dollars) to $ 1 USD (US Dollar).

Clothing: Like in most tropical countries, only very light clothing is necessary in Liberia. Cottons and linens are the most practical type of fabric to wear. Banking: Banking hours are generally from 8am-2pm with some institutions opening until 4pm, Monday-Friday & on Saturdays from 9am-12noon. VISA/ATM machines are available in and around the city. And the easiest to reach for a withdrawal of money are: International Bank – GTBank – UBA – Ecobank

Climate: Liberia has two seasons: Rainy (Fall/Autumn) and Dry (Summer). The rainy season runs from May-November. Dry season picks up from early November-April. The dry season can be extremely hot and sunny. However during January to early February, there are brief spells of colder weather due to to the Harmattan winds. Beaches There are many beaches in and around Moronvia and its environs and there usually is a small fee for parking. Food is readily available for sale. Most beaches have security in place but do be very mindful of the rip tides when swimming in our oceans: Barnes Beach – RIA Hwy, Cooper’s Beach – RIA Hwy, Golden Beach – 3rd St, Monrovia, Thinker’s Village – RIA Hwy, Hawaii Beach – Congotown, Kenedja Beach – RIA Hwy.
