Outdoor Learning
What is our Outdoor Learning
and Outdoor Education Provision?
Our outdoor learning provision offers children and young people hands-on experiences in nature. Through activities like bushcraft, wildlife exploration, orienteering, and team-building challenges, participants build essential life skills such as resilience, problem-solving, and cooperation. Engaging with the outdoors enhances physical health, mental well-being, and fosters a deeper connection to the natural environment. By providing a dynamic, active learning environment, we support the development of core competencies aligned with Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence, including:
• Successful Learners
• Confident Individuals
• Responsible Citizens
