OPEN DAY: Inspections are welcomed at our Open Day to be held on Wednesday 26th July 2023 from 9 am until 4 pm. Please join us at the On Farm Open day at Mt Pleasant 376 Dalby Nungil Road Dalby Qld 4405 BBQ lunch available.

SALE DAY INSPECTION: Animals will be penned for inspection from 10 am. Other inspections by appointment - Please contact Warren 0455724625 or selling agents Ray White Rural Dalby.

OPEN DAY & SALE DAY SAFETY and BIOSECURITY: In line with our Biosecurity Plan we ask that all visitors please sign in on the day using our Visitors Book.

VISITORS ENTER CATTLE PENS AT THEIR OWN RISK.

CHILDREN (UNDER 16) MUST NOT ENTER ANY PEN.

If you choose to enter pens when inspecting animals, please be always mindful of your safety, and realise you are doing so at your own risk. We ask that anyone under the age of 16, or those with mobility problems do not enter the pens. We welcome children to attend but ask that they are always supervised please. Please call upon one of our team or Ray White Rural Dalby Team if you would like assistance in looking at a specific animal.

SELLING SYSTEMS: The Sale will be conducted by the Agent as a live auction, under APLA auction terms and conditions. These terms can be found on their website at alpa.net.au.

BID CARD SYSTEM ON THE DAY: Anyone present on the day that wishes to bid, must register with the Agents before the start of the sale.

GST: The sale price at the fall of the hammer is GST exclusive. All lots will be subject to GST being charged in addition to the sale price.

AGENT REBATE: A 4% buyers’ rebate will be paid to any agent who has satisfied all of the following conditions:

• Introduces their client to the selling Agent or Vendor in writing no later than 5pm the day prior to the sale. Letters of introduction can be emailed to livestock.dalby@raywhite. com

• Attends the sale

• Settles their account within seven days

INSURANCE: A reminder that all animals are at the buyer’s risk from the fall of the hammer, so insurance is highly recommended.

Insurance is available by individual arrangement. A representative from Ausbrokers will be present on the day to assist with all enquiries.

DELIVERY: At completion of the sale, successful purchasers are to give written advice to the Agents regarding delivery and directions. Discussion regarding delivery of Animals to Major Centres and volume buyer’s welcome.

BULLS: Vaccinated with 7in1, Pesti Virus, 3 Germ Tick blood, Vibrio, IBR & BEF Vaccine (3Day sickness). Bulls have been confirmed to not be PI for BVDV via hair sampling.

HEIFERS: Vaccinated with 7in1, Pesti Virus & BEF Vaccine (3Day sickness). All cattle are J-Bas 7 with our last Check Test May 2023. No Cattle Tick Clearance required for Animal movement.

FERTILITY & BREEDING GUARANTEE

BULLS: have been Physically Examined Crush side & Morphology tested by an independent certified Veterinarian and are guaranteed fertile.

Semen Morphology testing has been performed Dr Kim Kelly BVsc MANZCVS (Reproduction) who runs an independent Veterinary Semen Morphology Laboratory – Kelly Ag Morphology Services. Dr Kelly is a member of the Australian Cattle Veterinarian Association, Australian Reproduction Vets, is an Accredited Bull Examiner and a certified member of the University of Queensland’s Semen Morphology Standardisation Program (UQSMSP).

Morphology of the sperm cell is now recognised as the most important measure of fertility in a bull.

HEIFERS: are either PTIC by an independent and certified Veterinarian or open heifers guaranteed fertile.

Considering this we want feedback to confirm we are on the right track and if you purchase a U8J stud animal and it does not perform to the standards we expect, talk to us! You return the animal for a replacement of the same value or a credit at the following year’s sale. Any claims against the breeding ability of an animal purchased are to be made in writing and accompanied by a Veterinary Certificate.

SUPPLEMENTARY SHEETS: All fat depths, EMA & IMF Scans, Scrotal Circumference (SC), Motility & Morphology will be detailed on the Supplementary Sheets prior to and on sale day.
