Is there anything better than having marbling and performance in the bull you breed your cows to? Commercial cattlemen take heed to the strong genetic characteristics that Brian has bred into his cow herd.

For years I have preached about needing AAA fat cattle in the packing houses. We still need AM but now it's the highest end of AM and Prime. Prime is very much in demand but our percentage at harvest is only in the single digits. Forget about A and AA - there's no sale for it.

We know the genetics are in the bulls to produce Prime. I do research work and some of the bulls harvested grade prime on the rail. It's all in the genetics.

I have seen some of Brian's older cows on the rail and they graded high AM and some had Prime marbling. These are 10 year old cows! The genetics are here!
