MARSASSOUM PRIMARY SCHOOL SENEGALESE PRIMARY SCHOOL PERSONAL WORK / FALL 2020 ARCHSTORMING SCHOOL DESIGN COMPETITION PARTNERED WITH SOPE KELANI
Our design is comprised of a central courtyard/garden that is surrounded by the seven classrooms, two offices, the library, and the canteen. The courtyard is the focal point of all activity in most west African cultures, and we wanted our design to reflect that. Our design is for the people; not just the students and the teachers but other members of the community that might PLAN benefit from its programming.

DIBIA: THE LOST RELIGION OF THE EAST COLLAGES BASED ON DIBIA FOLKLORE STUDIO WORK / FALL 2020 UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
In Igbo religion, there is a connection between humanity and the divine, human’s connection to the Earth is what granted them grace on Earth. Each collage is used to depict that relationship between Nature and the divine. In a universe were the human life is equivalent to a grain of sand, people were able to create their own sense of divinity.
