7 Steps To Draw a Cartoon Face For Beginners


Step 1: Find a picture you want to reference for creating the cartoon features.


Step 2: Draw the Structure ď‚— Draw the outline of the face. Begin from the eyebrow

portion, then draw the cheek, chin and jaw. Vary the line width for interest.

Step 3: Add Hair  Add the hairline around the face. After that add the silhouette shape of the hair.  Use "V" shape to show parts in the hair.  You can break the lines up by using decorative strokes,

but they should appear to create a shape of the hair.

you draw the top lip, then the bottom one.

Step 7: Add the Neck  In the last part draw the neck and collar.  Go to the top of the sketch and work in your way down

adding decorative strokes.
