Workflows of Motion Track ï‚ž There

are many ways you can do motion track in After Effects, and the workflow and method you follow the nature of your clip, and what you want to track.

Mask Tracker ď‚ž Use

of mask tracker to draw masks around the object to track the certain objects in the scene.

ď‚ž However, with

Face Tracking, you can track particular parts of the face such as pupils, mouth, and nose, allowing you to isolate and work on those facial features with greater detail.

Face tracker ď‚ž Simple

mask tracking lets you quickly apply effects only to a face, such as selective color correction or blurring a person’s face, and more.

 Example, change

colors of the eyes or exaggerate mouth movements without frame-by-frame adjustments.

3D Camera Tracker ď‚ž Use

the 3D camera tracker effect to analyze the video sequences to extract the camera motion and 3D scene data.

ď‚ž You

can then correctly composite the 3D elements over the 2D footage.

Point Tracker ď‚ž You

can track one or multiple reference features in a clip:

1. One-Point Tracking: ď‚ž Track

a single reference pattern in a movie clip to record the position data.

2. Two-Point Tracking: ď‚ž Track

two reference patterns in a movie clip and use the relationship between the two tracked points to record position, scale, and rotation data.

3. Four-Point Tracking: ď‚ž Track

four reference patterns in a movie clip to record position, scale, and rotation data.

ď‚ž The

four trackers analyze the relationship between the four reference patterns, such as corners of a picture frame or TV monitor.

 This

data is applied to each corner of image or clip to “pin” the clip so that it appears locked in the picture frame or TV monitor.

4. Multiple-Point Tracking: ď‚ž Track

as many reference patterns in a clip as you like.

ď‚ž You

can manually add trackers to the Analyze Motion and Stabilize behaviours.

ď‚ž When

you apply a Track Points behaviour from the Shape behaviours subcategory to shape or mask, a tracker is automatically assigned to each shape control point.
