03 In the year of 2017, I was deeply fascinated by a TV drama, named as Full House, from the Chinese mainland. It tells the story of several families living in quadrangle dwellings of Beijing, over the decades, their lives have undergone different changes as the country’s destiny has changed, so this drama immediately brings the audience into Chinese people’s lives in the middle and late 20th century. And I couldn't help but indulge in the courtyard life in that era, the children playing in the streets were always so naive and lively, the smell of meals from the kitchens was always smelt like home, and the elders talking about family gossip at the front of doors were always so talkative, etc. However, in the reality of the 21st century, the children are stuck with the thrill of electronic devices, the adults are enjoying the convenience brought by “e le me” (a kind of fast food platform), the elderly sitting alone in the home are feeling the richness of the world through the TV screen, etc. Behind these comfortable lives, human beings are feeling lonely in their souls increasingly.

With the acceleration of the globalization process, more and more high-rise buildings have poured into cities. Although high-rise residential buildings have solved the living problems of a large number of people, they have also led to a reduction in urban public space and destroyed urban fabric. And traditional communities. The structure of urban public space has changed, losing the warm picture of the front door and the back door, causing many problems such as indifference among residents. In the face of these phenomena and problems, I started from the social and spiritual needs of people, researched Chongqing's local unique activities and unique spaces, and saved these traditional and unique memories.

People who used to sit on thte bench and eat small noodles at the doorstep were not there. Instead, they were machines that sold instant noodles.

In the past, the streets were full of lively sounds, and the sound of neighbors playing mahjong could be heard during a nap.
Well, let's leave now. The city of Chongqing has lost its original appearance in the development of science and technology. Ok, let's go
Past Former community...
The old man said he would not, and said goodbye to the neighbor.
"Come on, play mahjong!" The old man deliberately enthusiasm, to cover up the loss.

The white bird also seemed to feel the sorrow of the old man. He stood quietly for a while and then took the old man to the heights.

Tell a Story about Death Type: Academic Date: 03/2018-05/2018 Site: Shinjuku,Japan Group work: Ning Jiang,Teng Wang, yingtong Liu
The construction of buildings affects people's behavior,so,what happens when people's behavior affects buildings? Based on this, we will pay special attention to the influence of human death on buildings, which are taboo and repugnant after happening this kind of death. How can we redefine these houses by their recipients and try to change the perception of people who don't accept them? Behind these events, there are some drawbacks of social structure. The cognition and concern of stigmatized house is a metaphor for the society changes its standpoint on marginalized groups. The changing of the public’s views on these houses is a focus on social structure, that has the effect of giving a satirical strategy for these houses, an architectural agent about telling and questing death, a system of indifference to death and social reflection brought by death, which has been regarded as an important reflection of Japanese social structure.

stigmatized house-3
stigmatized property is property that buyers or tenants may shun for reasons that are unrelated to its physical condition or features. Japanese houses are real estate, when there are death events in the houses, which are referred to as "accident object". There are no problems in these houses (such as structure, space, etc.). Therefore, the renovation of houses will not solve some problems. Most of the tenants are mentally unfit, which is dubbed as "psychological defect". Stigmatized house is a common social phenomenon in Japan, most people are taboo to it, which is rarely concerned, but these just reflect the social environment of Japan. Our plan will use stigmatized house as the statement point.

Through marking the stigmatized house of the different areas in Tokyo,we can see that the number of stigmatized house is relatively large, but they are evenly distributed to some extent. This shows that stigmatized house is a common phenomenon in Tokyo, which helps to eliminate the differences caused by regional factors such as economic policies in different regions. It can be seen from the situation of death that the causes of deaths are vary with different area of Tokyo. However, most people of these deaths belong to marginalized groups such as low-income and receiving social subsidies, etc. These marginalized groups have less social attention until they die at home. Therefore, Japan's social factors are the direct cause of stigmatized house, which will help us to implement following study deeply.
According to the research, in Japan, most people refuse to rent a house when they have learned it's stigmatized house. However, it is interesting that a small number of people accept it for various reasons. We have then focused on the attitude of the recipient and the non recipient towards stigmatized house.
high
Reason for [Not accepted the crowd] 1. Because the predecessor of the house is used for the profit of geographical situation and other issues 2. The Japanese think that it will bring them bad luck to live in a house where the death occurred. 3. The floor of Japanese houses is made of wood. The rotten body will go deep into the floor and cannot be public eliminated. The smell is pungent 4. As a result of the cultural background, many people believe in and fear the existence of the soul low reason: Feng Shui Bad luck Sanitaion(smell) Heart defects Family against Others 5. Young people just graduated: with a low income, they can only live in a cheap house as a result of Japan has a high cost of living. 3. Doctors and nurses: they are exposed to death every day. They don't feel terrible for such ghost and spiritual events. 4. Old people: think that they have reached the end of life, and just want to find a cheap house as the final foothold. 5. Supernatural enthusiasts: they have special interests in supernatural events, and they rent a stigmatized house to research supernatural events. 6. People with religious beliefs: they have special opinion on death.

Thinking Stigmatized house reflects the relatively common social phenomenon in Japan. To some extent, the society's ignorance and indifference to the marginal groups are reflected in this social phenomenon (stigmatized house). These marginalized groups and deaths are a response to the overall structure of Japanese society. So can their cognition of stigmatized house be changed, so as to cause the society to think about the social factors of this series of events? Perhaps, these receptive groups can let us rethink and change others' introspection on these houses and the social structure of Japan.

The agents who sell stigmatized houses are more willing to collect these cheap houses and sell them at a high price. The location information and space function of the agents links the agents and these houses in a better way. I marked the location of stigmatized house in an area and correlated the locations to different quantities, they were roughly in the center of the vacant position. The location relationship of the agents guides our final project site, which can better cover the stigmatized houses in the area.At the same time, the function of the agents guides some functions of the building.
IKEA
Return to the thought of stigmatized house. We analyzed modes of conducting of curiosity hunters in stigmatized house. They pay more attention to life-related furniture, calendars recording time and date, or death- related objects (such as the garbage left by defunct), etc., so they stay longer. At the same time, they used cameras to record stigmatized house. The length of their stay in the house expresses their concern and importance for the space, so the space under the lens is the real feedback of their seek novelty behavior. Then, we think about how to reflect this behavior into the spatial model.
stigmatized house
[Space function]
We have studied and summarized the behavior characteristics of different curiosity hunters for cities and stigmatized houses 1. They are in the state of finding and discovering things, and they are finishing in constantly walking and experiencing: 2. They pay close attention to things with certain characteristics, and have different attention duration to different concerns: 3. They are utilizing cameras, pickup camera, etc. as a platform for recording and spreading, and attract other people's attention;

IKEA is a good business model. Some of the behaviors of people in IKEA are similar to those of curiosity hunters. For example, IKEA's space is focused on furniture, similarly, the focus of curiosity hunters on the stigmatized house is also life-related objects; different people's stay time and different actions in IKEA reflect the importance of space; most people have the habit of using mobile camera to record objects in IKEA. Therefore, the research on IKEA, a real business model, is conducive to the feedback of what we call the seek novelty behavior, and reappearing this behavior in the way of buildings.

[1]Lens recording reflects the spatial role and behavior of the curiosity hunters. We can see their different actions and visual concerns in stigmatized house by lens relationship. We studied the lens relationship of the hunter in stigmatized house. By measuring their lens rotation, rocking, depth of field relationships and lens duration, these continuous lenses are connected in series in each space. This reflects the characteristics of the hunters and sums them up.

[2]Similarly, in IKEA's comparative research model, we also investigated and summarized the behavior of different people. These image fragments are consistent with the strange hunting behavior of stigmatized house to some extent by the way of lens recording and shooting. The time aspect of different people's attention to things reflects the importance of IKEA's spatial behavior. For example, they would sit down in a specific position, watch carefully and so on. In the process of investigation, the spatial density of people is also a variable, which also reflects the importance of space.

I extracted the objects that the curiosity hunter stayed in stigmatized house for a long time. These objects reflect the death events and stories behind the space. I hope to use these objects as a narrative way of space.
[3]Space equivalent transformation is my attempt to reflect seek novelty behavior to the architectural space. I summarized the importance of space behavior based on the same space by equivalent replacement (these importance degrees are summarized by the above methods and can reflect the spatial behavior), and project the space of stigmatized house to IKEA, the real architectural space. This is the basis for the next spatial transformation.
I summed up these data in the plane of IKEA and stigmatized house through these studies, and transform the two spaces equally based on the importance of space. There are two variables of the importance of space, namely, the length of people's stay and behavior.

I took a piece of image as an example for research, and matched the spatial behavior track with the corresponding space and image concerns. For example, the camera shake reflected the rapid movement, the camera zoom indicated the strong concern, the action of the curiosity hunter under different images was different, and the same emphasis was given to the duration of these actions.

By summarizing the above methods, I mapped the image of the curiosity hunter to a spatial model, which reflects the behavior of the curiosity hunter. This space stretches a plane space according to the different images and behaviors. The longer the stay time is, the larger the space gap is. The stretching angle of the space reflects the vision and action of the curiosity hunter. The location of the spatial action corresponds to the real spatial location relationship, so the space reflects the behavior of the curiosity hunter.

The scheme site is located near Shinjuku railway station in Shinjuku District, Tokyo. Most of the area is occupied by rental houses. I marked the location of each stigmatized house. In these distribution links, I use the center vacancy as the location of selection according to the spatial relationship of the house agents of the stigmatized house discussed before, which has a certain influence on the region, and analyzed the local stigmatized house.

I layered the spatial relationship composed of behaviors, a specific hole will be formed when there is no behavior in the space. The boundary of behavior relationship becomes the boundary of buildings, because some spaces are generated without behavior. The highest point of behavior relationship is the object of concern. These positions should better meet the generation of long-term behavior, for instance, space that meets the long-term viewing. As well, the breaking and squeezing of the space consisted of behavioral relations, i n c l u d i n g t h e a rc h i te c t u ra l appearance in the building to carry seek novelty behavior.

Japan ranks first among the bald countries in Asia and 13th in the world. Baldness accounts for 27.78% of the country. Although Japan's economy is developed, people are under great pressure. There are many people with mental illness in the Japanese population, so this leads to hair loss in Japanese men, and the mental factors themselves are closest to hair growth. Not only that, mental stress is too great, but also affects the human endocrine and immune system.

"Hypocrisy" and "Purity" Type: Academic Date: 11/2019-03/2020 Site: Chong Qing,China Individual work
It has been more than 20 years since the UK first introduced the concept of cultural and creative industries in 1998. The cultural and creative industries in many countries and cities have matured. This development process is also accompanied by the advent of the post-industrial era. Those old factories that were once entangled in the urban area gradually moved out, and some of them closed down and some participated in urban renewal to upgrade and upgrade. More options are in a new way. Rebirth-the development of cultural and creative industries, combining the personalized design of cultural and creative with traditional historical blocks, traditional industrial parks, etc., activating historical space can enhance the spatial value of historical and cultural areas. My design started with my research on the mature 798 art park in China. I mainly studied the two types of character relationships in the park, businessmen and art, and gave them nicknames, hypocrisy and purity. The distribution of the two functions should be reasonably allocated to better coordinate the development of the cultural and creative park.

Art District
In the 1990s, with the deepening of reform and opening up, China's economic development has entered a period of sustained and rapid growth. The improvement of residents' water bottles has increased people's spiritual needs, and cultural development has entered a new chapter. In the postindustrial era, the type of urban land has been continuously replaced, and a large amount of industrial land has been replaced by other types of land. At the same time, urban renewal has become particularly urgent. The development and transformation of old industrial sites has become one of the hot issues in urban renewal in recent years. The use of the abandoned factory area to transform into a cultural and creative industry cluster area (referred to as cultural and creative factory) has to appear, to carry out the secondary design and transformation of the factory area, the introduction of a large amount of funds and tourists also give the old factory area a new vitality.

Stationary stage: "Hypocrisy" and "Pure" begin to compete for land and seize the market. At this time, "Pure" is no longer "Pure", and begins to decorate itself and empower itself.
Besides, A number of catering, leisure, entertainment, and retail establishments are gradually replacing artist studios, making 798 ArtDist become as a mixed-use business hub

Falling stage: As the price of the land caused by "pure" rises, "hypocrisy" can't bear it and gradually withdraws from the park.

Richard E. Caves (2000) research on the New York Art Center shows that the spatial distribution of the modern art market is characterized by "selfdestruction".
In order to solve this similar problem, I will intervene in a new group of peoplemanagers to reconcile the layout relationship between "hypocrisy" and "purity".

Due to the lack of space and oversupply, I will perform function optimization. Because this node is a crowded and dense crowd, people will stay here. According to the needs of the crowd, the viewing activity is greater than the purchasing activity, and the viewing function is preferred-galleries, clothing stores and art sales are interspersed in the gallery.
Before

This area has ample functions and ample space, and no changes are needed. Located inside the factory, it is quiet and bright, suitable for artists to create here.

Visitors in this area have walked for an hour to an hour and a half, and need to stop and rest, preferably functions such as cafes and restaurants. Due to the dense crowds in this area and the lack of venues, buildings need to be demolished and routes added.

Taking different people's paths as design entry points, the layout obtained is different from the traditional layout. The traditional layout is mainly based on block layout, and each function is in a block. Such a layout method will cause every The regional functions are too single, and the linkage is weak. Some regions are relatively active, and some regions are relatively deserted, which cannot promote the development of the entire region. The functional layout based on the path axis can make the functions in each region relatively Rich, they have regional selfsatisfaction, and the regional ecology is relatively more stable, which can better promote the development of positive regions from small to large. Of course, this model still needs time to verify. My scheme is the end of the previous stage and the beginning of the next stage. I hope that time will further verify my scheme. I also hope to continue to study such projects in the graduate stage. .
