In a world where we see our phones, computers and other devices more than seeing people around us.
My project was based on Marketing and Branding. The main aim was to create a brand and the exhibition space whilst keeping in mind the problem of people communicating with their tech more, than talking to one another. I created brand- TIO , short for "Talk It Out". The exhibition space would help people to realise the importance to let go of technology after a certain time of use & speak to people from different backgrounds.

The concept for the exhibition space was for it to be the kind of space where people would want to interact without being disturbed by phone calls or texts, etc. Putting circular seating would help people start a conversation. Having natural rocks and plants within the space would help bring positivity in the space.

The main focus of this project was to understand how marketing -branding and interior design are related. So creating a brand and also creating a space has helped me explore more into exhibition spaces and also how to make the space look appealing to the customers from various age groups.

MINI MUJI Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. or Muji is a brand that was founded in Japan in the year 1980 by Seiji Tsutjumi. Muji was founded at the time when other foreign luxury brands were gaining popularity. Muji's full name "Mujirushi Ryōhin" which translates to no brand- good quality.

After a research done Muji, they learnt that consumers paid "premium" for functionality, affordability and quality over marketing hype, high price tags and the status symbols.

Muji started with launching 9 household and 31 food products. Today, there are 100's of products ranging from pillows to shampoos and the list goes on. "Muji is not a brand."as said by Asako Shimazaki (President of Muji, USA). Muji solves problems that arise on a daily basis. Its products are not about quality, price or the design- its the combination all of them.
