This project we were given a set of guidelines, similar to a client wish list. The list included laundry room on the 2nd floor, an open concept on the main floor, and a walk through pantry. The house is on an infill lot so it could only be 25’ wide. This project is still a in progress. There will be 3 more elevations, foundation plan, and a building section added to the total package.

In 2nd semester we designed it. Above is the design boards and the render in sketch up. In 3rd and 4th semester are the working drawings for it. Canadian Western Bank
This project was designing a building for the Canadian Western Bank on the corner of 61st avenue and 104th street in Edmonton. The building was molded and rendered in Revit. Clockwise from above: 3-D model of bank; final massing hand rendered; inspiration model represents community, made from foam core; opposite page clockwise from top west, north, east, and south elevations.
Sketch Up
These are some of the small projects that we did in Sketch Up. Clockwise from left: An exterior render at night; An interior render with the use of illumination using floor lamps and ceiling lights; A model built from Auto cad drawings, and then rendered in Sketch Up.

Floor Plan
Elevation
This is the All Day Cafe. We were given the black and white images and had to touch them up, add colour, room names, graphic scale, and entourage. The final part of the project was to put the images into a poster.
Models
Clockwise from left: The Wild Acorn Inn is a bird house built about the Wood Duck not for the duck. The birdhouse was built in the shape of an acorn because ducks eat acorns, and the colours represent the wood duck colours. Made from matt board and covered in computer printed graphics, the design board is hand rendered; The Blueberry is a box designed to have an unexpected object in it but still have something in common with the object. I put blueberry mini wheats inside. Made from matt board and computer printed graphics.
Denken Buiten De Arena is a “think-suary for Anky Van Grunsven. I designed an arena with the dressage letters on the floor for doing a practice walk-through of the dressage pattern before having to ride it on your horse. Made from matt board and vellum. Design board is hand rendered.
This model was designed for the Tombstone Territorial Park in Yukon, Canada. The inspiration for the tourist center was a dog sled. Made form foam core, matt board, and cardboard. The hand render shows the floor plan and the model with the roof.
Hand
Above: This project was a house that had to be in a climate that was cold, beside the ocean, and in an urban setting. I chose to put it on the coast of Newfoundland. Hand rendered. Right: Notre Dam Cathedral West Front was drawn from a photograph from the textbook A World History of Architecture by Michael Fazio, Marian Moffett, Lawrence Wodehouse, 2nd edition.
