Factory in a Forest is a model of industrial urbanism that reverses the flaws of the existing Sungei Kadut. Here, factories are designed to be highdensity, modular, and vertically stacked. Co-location of heavy-medium industries with agro-tech farms creates circular flows of energy and materials. Each building is linked to a large basement at the heart of which is a logistical centre. Heavy traffic is diverted to this datum; material flows in and out of Sungei Kadut are linked to local network of mover systems, thereby freeing the ground for public space and farming. Pedestrian 10 25 and cycling pathways connects the MRT station to waterfront promenades and the Rail Corridor. The forest here is 0the dense blue-green cover that offers a biophilic experience for visitors and ecosystem services to industries, such as03the cleansing of water and noise attenuation. 07 QEMZI VILLA A ROYAL EXPERIENCE

CONCEPT

Landscape | Dubai, UAE

Idea is to design an outdoor space that is grand, bold, and inviting, and is an extension of the owners own style and culture. Landscape is weaved together with sensory experience & geometrical patterns.Spaces are open utlilizng clean lines with a mixture of textures and materials. Colors are vividly ornamated with the hues of local stone & clay. Use of symmetrical geometry with pops of irregular shrubs arrangement bring it all together to create a space that feels modern but also has an Islamic style feel to it. Water channel with a series of theme pedestals having illuminating features and variety of tall trees at entrance avenue create a sense of fragrating and grandeur movement. Symmetrical gardens along with alternate shrub beds harmonize the surroundings which further magnifies and enhances the scenic views.Bold geometrical flooring patterns support and balances the fluid softscape to craft a splendor realm. Through pronounced linearity and symmetry, the gardens also complement the Moroccan style of the villa. As a result, a rare balance is achieved between the interior and exterior architectures. This orderly, geometric composition is reflected by the shapes given to various elements throughout the outdoors: a planter in the form of a square here, a star-shaped flooring patterns there. Geometrical patterns

Following the brief of the client and his love for white color, the architectural composition and interior of the house follows pure and fresh fell of monochrome color pallete, minimalist decoration and clear lines. The clear, angular lines combine with the furniture to provide design rich-comfort. Floor-toceiling windows, atrium-like space for swimming pool and alternate solids and voids, views and privet corners in the house allows the house to be enjoyed and experienced as series of intriguing elements. Custom pieces of wooden furniture along-with pops of bold colors compliment the concrete, and ties together the natural lighting reflecting off the natural wood to give a cozy vibe.

CONCEPT

Complete transformation of interiors of an almost twent-years old wither office space to a lively workspace, abiding by the existing structural grids, is one such project which is successfully conceptualized and executed in close collaboration with the client and the employees of the office- to meet their demands and expectations. The new office space is dynamic, modern and fun with the playfulness of design arrangements, hues of bold colors, robust materials and intriguing shapes that adorn the variety of working premises. An industrial hint of exposed ceilings and pipes, polished concrete floors, modernistic furniture is softened by natural materials like wood and stone, glass and metal and is additionally enriched by soft textures and high charactercstic colors. The darkness is supplemented by shining surfaces, installations, wonderful contemporary illuminating pieces and lamps, green turf carpet and indoor plants & succulents- all with unique design and memorable presence. The whimsical sense of humor is evident in some of the unique features of the open office layout : bean bag chairs upholstered in bright colors, swing seats, workstations of different shapes and heights, sleeping pods- all creating fun. dynamic atmosphere for the employers to make feel that the work is also a pleaure and entertainment.
