Modern architecture, even though a contrast in form and shape, still emphasizes the foundation from which it derived - classicism.

The improved characteristics of concrete, steel and glass allow the artist-architect to raise global awareness about ecology through their art.

With this movement, the self-sus tainable building concept of the so-called ‘smart building’ is gaining popularity world-wide.

Amorphous forms, over-dimensionalised spaces, glass curtain walls and impressive steel structures mim ic nature’s shapes and flow.

Widely recognized for their organic-form works, Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry and Santiago Cala trava are one of the most-well known representatives of modern XXI architecture.. Minimalism, simple, clean and one-coloured lines are some of the changes XXI Architecture brings to interior design.

The concept depicts the tone and goal through the dominant straight line. The asymmetry re sembles freedom of expression and the straying from the formed restraints of classicism. This is achieved by introducing the line that follows the figure.
