Hour Glass Your body shape is an Hour Glass if…. Your bust and hip measurements are no more than 2 inches apart and your waist is at least 9 inches smaller than your bust and hips. Style Tips: • If you want to show off your figure consider a fit and flare or trumpet style gown • Accent your waist even more with a corseted gown • You can wear just about any type of gown but avoid two piece gowns.
Spoon Your body shape is a Spoon if… Your hips are more than 2 inches larger than the bust AND your waist is at least 9 inches smaller than the bust. Style tips: • Choose a gown that fits through the waist and flares at the hips • Make sure you accentuate your waist • Consider a ‘stylized’ fit and flare gown with a dropped waist.

Style tips: • Choose a gown with a fitted waist • Create the illusion of curves with a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice. Your body shape is a Triangle if… Your bust is at least 3 ½ inches larger than your hips AND your waist is at least 9 inches smaller than your bust. Style tips: • Choose styles that minimize your bust while accentuating your waist • Consider dresses with ‘V’ type necklines.
