DRIVEN BY CURIOSITY
This portfolio contains a collection of select academic and non - academic works in architecture, art and design. Each project had its own means of presentation, however they’re all presented in a unifying theme for this portfolio while keeping the original presentation spirit. Hopefully, this portfolio will give you a insight to who I am as a creative person.

BEACH CAFÉ The design objective in this project was to build a cost effective and unique experience for a beach cafe., While providing a full view of the sea to the users. The solution to this was a conceptual cafe raised several stories above the ground surface on an angular scafolding structure. Accessed by climbing a vertiginous staircase. All of the above features were achieved by the use of shipping container as building block, which can be dismantled and re-assembled for re-location.

A sneak peak in to the interiors. Its is important in a café to maintain a ambiance that serves to relax the user, thus a view of the sea and complementing fenestration to allow subtle sunrays forming patterns.
Bird’s eye view of the café View of the café facing the sea, elevatted hieght provides a better view of the sea and beach for the users.
COMMERCIAL COMPLEX A mixed complex is nothing like a mall, everything here is different because it is inspired by culture and it inspires the culture of a place. People are driven towards the green and raw nature of suburbs when working in extreme density of the cities. Thus, the design problem was to make a mixed use commercial complex keeping the Indian culture as the centre of focus. Allowing maximum social gathering space and common plaza connecting all the spaces. The main idea here is to combine the urban oasis of the open areas with the extreme density of sky scraper into a new world hybrid of the two.

CONCEPT The concept behind the design is that each unit of complex is representative of a mountain in the landscape, the common space in the center and in between the buildings then becomes a valley. each space is able to overflow into this valley to create a organic flow.
Complex is designed to draw its success based on the following salient features ;- 4 varieties of sizes are designed for shops, catering to the fact that not all shop types have the same space needs. Further, deeper shops have been designed to suit the needs of the majority of shops - hawkers have been allocated kiosk spaces interspersed in between retail shops to maintain the economic ecology that exists in every indian bazaar - single loaded corridors have been designed for comfortable movement of visitors.

The Connecting Bridge The exclusive connection from 3rd floor to 4th floor on the exterior of this anchor shop cum game plaza.
A Peek of the Valley View from inside the connecting bridge shows the common plaza which also serves as a small open air venue for certain gatherings.
Green Office Each office floor comprises of a green zone with big opening to allow circulation of fresh air, ďŹ lter and reduce building’s carbon footprint.
Plaza and More A commercial complex is binded together by the common plaza and the intermediate spaces between the buildings.
ARCHITECT’S RESIDENCE
The design objective here was to achieve a evident but subtle balance between residence and office space while preserving the professional environment with the luxury of a house. In such circumstances it is important to mark out a formal workspace even with-in the house, keeping in mind not to clutter the workspace and keeping it functional.

The RELIGIOUS, SOCIAL , CULTURAL , RECREATIONAL , TRAVEL and WORK related activities simultaneously generate the phenomemon of CYCLIC CHANGES in the articulation of space and population dynamics. Whole unit is entirely made up of single material which makes it easy to recycle.
permanent fixture for storage
CONCEPT BIOMIMICRY- looks to nature and natural systems for inspiration. ORIGAMI- the art of folding paper geometrically to produce flexible designs.
INDOORS STORAGE | SITTING | DISPLAY | SPACE EFFECIENT
OUTDOORS SITTING | SHADE | PLAYFUL | PORTABLE
THE RED DOT | INDUSTRIAL DESIGN | 2014 INDULGENCE | THE CONCEPT Minimalism is more of a principle than a visual design. Imagine walking into a bare room where one peice commands your attention, that’s minimalism. A minimally designed space most often tends to have one element that stands out, because of its colour or style, making it a statement piece for the respective space.
DESIGN PROCESS
ELEGANCE RE-DEFINED
Made entirely using the Autodesk Fusion 360, industrail design software. Allowing sculpting of the product efficiently.

ARTWORKS
Observative sketching is a wonderful method to study different aspects of various elements and feelings. I draw portraits and perspectives in different media to relax myself from the stresses of studio. Making artwork using digital media is just as interesting to me as using pen and paper. However, I beleive digital media has vast potential even for creative architectural representation.
2015 | Sketch | Contemporary Feeling A mix of pencil and photoshop sketching, Inspired from Shakti Mohan contemporary dance photoshoot.
2016 | Portrait | Squares and Triangles A interestingly different take at portraying someone taking reference from real images.
2016 | Hand Sketch | True Face One of my best work so far, True face is the one we never show to anyone, it is the truest reflection of ones self
PHOTOGRAPHY
In addition to other things, what does photography help me percieve? A sense of light and shades A sense of scale Composition Colour sense Visualisation
I record footage every step of my way. I predominantly use the inbuilt camera function. Either no photoshop or minimal photoshop editing. All my intention is to share my point of view at things.
