FROM SUPER MARKET TO SUPER FORESTS Coexistence Through Inhabited Forests We are consuming and polluting without concidering the consequences. Addressing climate change and biodiversity loss are of outmost importance in todays society. How do we humans dwell and coexist with nature strengthening the ecosystems? What is the role of the architecture and can it make us more connected to nature? How do we construct our houses carbon free? Can we rethink the surroundings and how we dwell occupying less surface of the earth?
The workflow, investigations and design choice for this master project has encompassed all scales, from the landscape down to the manifestation of the architectural details that establish a connection to the elements. This continuous joy and curiosity over a timespan of 4 months has been an investigation into three distinct categories, each focusing on a different aspect of the scale in the project: maintenance, cultivated coexistence, and landscape and forest.
This study is about establishing new perspectives, thoughts and insights inhabiting forests, through these three categories of scale, where the architecture and the landscape both are strengthening our connectedness with the nature and become more resilient to changes. The importance of urban planning and setting long termgoals. This project is devoloped thanks to the tools and facilities at Aarhus School of Architecture, under the supervision of Jan Gehl, Tom Nielsen, Alicia Lazzaroni, Rune Christian Bach and Birgitte Eybye.

MASTERPLAN OF FUTURE LIVØ ISLAND SETTLEMENT
LIVØ ISLAND AS FUTURE HUB OF REGENERATIVE CULTURES
IMAGINED 200 NEW INHABITANTS The counter-movement, to move from country to city, is growing. Livø is today protected and owned by the Danish Nature Agency. The urban growth of the future can then only take place between the houses. We want to rediscover the nature and qualities of the village because we have discovered the technology, allow us. With its local raw materials, the local community, Livø will re-emerge as a sustainable and modern eco-community. In the future, 500 permanent residents will live on Livø. The survival of the eco-community is ensured by Livø’s isolated location in the Limfjord.

A Hostel along the creek in Brabrand LIFE ALONG THE CREEK Walking along the creek, feel the calm but constant movement of the water. The work of nature. See how the rich wildlife unfolds from the field mouse in the tall grass to the fish in the creek. The whole story of this distant world from city life in nature, I want to create a meeting place in between.
By placing the hostel along the creek, I create a space where the individual guest can have their zen moment with both the water and nature right outside the room. This linear structure fits elegantly into the linear course of landscapes. Towards the river, a promenade is created where this meeting between the city man and nature takes place.
The houses are built in pure solid wood ‘clt’ elements, which are placed on a pillar foundation, like train carriages on rails.

A SHADOW ON THE MEADOWS With study trips to Værnengene, I started my work with the construction and storytelling in the landscape. The movements of the birds. I studied how the birds behaved and how their stay on the guardrails turned out. the tower could convey this to the visiting guests. People came from near and far to look at just this. I have therefore analyzed the birds. From the way they sit in the field. The flight formations in the sky, for the whole movement in when the birds set off.
I have simply designed the construction so that an educator could explain to children this story about the birds; by hand, by placing the tip of the thumb on the middle finger, thereby mirroring the construction of the bird’s wing. This would also be a constant communication through the construction of this daily story about the birds’ rest on Værnengene. Hence the name: Rest at Værnengene.
Student competition at the Danish schools of architecture in the summer of 2018. The competition “A structure at Værnengene” was set up by Johansen & Skovsted and the Dreyer Foundation.
My suggestion is this solid oak construction; Rested on Værnengene. The requirement was a vantage point, but also a shelter / packed lunch house that could shield from the changeable nature. Built into the construction are covered tables and benches, as well as a large grandstand overlooking the meadows. Materials are oak and drawn wall.

SHELTER CONSTRUCTIOMS
Together with my team, we built these shelters one early summer, first in the workshop and rebuilt them in this location, like a tuna on the edge of the forest. The task was to construct a place where one could spend the night sheltered from the elements. Clustered in between the bushes these three shelters, each of offers different types of stays, where one be depending on the weather.

A close relation to the community and the water of Stralsund Let’s strengthen the relation between locals and the water by amplifying the presence of how the water is reachable. The former industrial area of Stralsund will be divided in five new peninsulas. The narrative of these will be: tourism, maritime harbour, cultural activities, public services, and sports facilities. Along the inner side of these a large area will be transformed into a water channel, recreating the medieval coastline and continuing the boulevard from the old centre. Each peninsula will be interconnected by bridges, bike paths, however only one per each will be wide enough for cars. A new tramline will connect the central train station, utilising the tracks to the Rugen station. The peninsulas of Stralsund will be a lovely new place in Stralsund, relinking the atmosphere and scale of the alte stadt architecture to the harbour preserving the historical industrial elements, such as cranes, train tracks, silo towers etc. respecting the water, nonhuman life and maritime activities.

How should we design the future Energy Islands? MODEL FOR ENERGINET The goal of two energy islands in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea should be ready in the nearest future, however what should they look like and could they contribute with more than energy?
Energinet was hosting a event during wind conference Electric City organized by WindEurope November 2021.
- No one has ever built an energy island before. So, it can be hard to imagine what it will look like. But maybe LEGO bricks can help us to imagine. The bricks invite you to think outside the box - just like we must do when we establish the Energy Islands, says Hanne Storm Edlefsen, who participated in the event.

The coast and landscape is changing because of harbour expantions and industrial interests. FREDERIKSHAVN NORTHERN BEACHES Due to massive expantion of the industrial harbour of my hometown Frederikshavn the landscape of northern beaches are changing. The coastline are gradually changing. This satelite picture are taken before the expansion however the underwater movement of sand fill up the coast and pushes the coastline futher out. How do we deal with these side effects of the harbour expansion and what consequenses will it have to the wild life and past and present cultural historic events of the landscape?
