Painting as Landscape Spring 2013

Exploring topography through close analysis of Braque’s “The Portuguese.” A visitor’s center was to be lightly placed on the site with forms derived wfrom explorations of surrounding site geometries.

Museum of the City Spring 2013

An intensive study of the city of Charleston, South Carolina which ultimately led to the design of a museum reflective of the essential parts of a given zone within the city. Particular attention to detail was paid to the creation of spaces as they related to both plan and section.

Raleigh Contemporary (R-CON) Fall 2015

Located in the warehouse district of Raleigh, NC, the goal of this project was to provide the Contemporary Art Museum a satellite location to house an art institute. R-CON was conceived to become an educational and cultural beacon for the city.
