Setting up

The Institute of Informatics and Applications, IIiA, is a research institute at the University of Girona established in 1996 to foster research in the field of ICT.


Goals Knowledge creation, production and development • Research studies • Development of new technologies, products and services • R&D projects funded at local, national and European level

Technology transfer • Contracts with companies • Joint R&D and Innovation projects with companies

Knowledge transfer • Master and doctoral programmes • Exchange programmes for both academic staff and students • Outreach and dissemination activities in the field of ICT
