My Style I love to look for contrasting colors to make your photos pop with vibrant color. If I haven’t already photographed at your location before, I like to arrive a little early and walk the grounds, look for unique structures and colors that could be photographed and take note of how the sun and sunset will affect the location.
Prime Time Photos Sunset is the most beautiful time of day to take photos. The sky produces a variety of colors and makes the surroundings glitter with golden light. I love to shoot at this time of day, and, if possible I’d love to schedule your session during this time.
Location, Location, Location… Your choice of location is one of the most important decisions in your session. In Arizona, there are a few types of locations; farm, park, urban and nature. If you have some place that is special to your family, I’d love to capture you there. Let me know the type of look you’d like for your shoot and we can go from there!
What to Wear? There is a couple different ways to coordinate the colors in your photo shoot. You could choose two - three colors and have everyone where varying shades of these, you could choose one color or choose a style of clothing. I recommend staying away from clothing that has large logos as it can be distracting in the photos. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and feel good about your clothing choices.

Engagement Sessions Engagement sessions are valuable for a number of reasons. For one, it gives us a chance to get to know each other a little better, to get used to me photographing you and interacting with the two of you. It makes your beautiful wedding day just a tad more relaxed, since we will already have worked together. Also, while you will have many great wedding photos when you are all dressed up and looking spiffy, it’s nice to have some that are more casual. It’s also nice to have them in a different location, so you will have a variety of photos in your collection.
Newborn Sessions The tiniest of the clients are usually one of the most demanding to photograph yet, they are one of the most fun! I recommend photographing your newborn baby between 4 - 10 days old to achieve that sleepy newborn look. I will come to your home with lots of props and I will incorporate any special items you have as well. We will do a variety of posed shots and also lifestyle photos. Lifestyle photos are capturing you in your natural state at home. While you love on your precious family, I will be able to preserve those memories.
High School Seniors One of my favorite subjects is a High School Senior! This is such a fun, memorable time in their life that I love to be able to capture their unique personality. Incorporating outfit changes and props helps make their photo shoot unique.
Albums, Canvases & Prints An album is heirloom for your family. I offer beautiful high quality albums, canvas and metallic prints. While I always offer digital negatives with my collections, it is so important to actually print photos, put them on your walls, and make them the centerpiece of your home.
About Me I’ve been married to my hubby for over 12 years. It is with my husband’s love and support that I am able to devote myself to this career that has become a passion for me. It was not something I planned on but, I truly love it. As you can see, we have our hands full with our 3 kiddos. They are sweet and smart and can be a little crazy sometimes, but it makes life a little more interesting. (Also, notice we opted for a brown and green color palette for our own family photos in a previous year.)

Frequently Asked Questions Do we get to print our own images? Yes, you will receive your high resolution images in an online gallery to download on your computer. You are welcome to print them anywhere you like. I do suggest that you take advantage of the professional prints that I offer, as they are of wonderful quality. What is an online gallery? I offer online image galleries, where you can view your photos online and share them with friends and family. You'll get your photos faster and beautifully packaged in your own custom online gallery and app for a year. How long will it take to get our images? I edit each and every image I present to a client. You will receive a sneak peek within 1 week after your session. Then, you will receive your full gallery of images 2-3 weeks after your session. Do you accept credit cards? Yes, I have a square that I carry with me that connects to my phone. This makes it super easy for me to charge you right at the photo session. You are welcome to pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover card.
