THE ANIMATE THE INATIMATE

This exercise tasked to create a plan, elevation, and section to animate the object to create a narrative behind the object.

The object I choose was lip gloss. To create a narrative you had to imagine and map envelopes and trajectory lines to create an animated drawing full of action and change.

MAPPING SPACES

This exercise was a practice of creating and organizing space through a set of rules. At the beginning of the exercise, we started from 2D to 3D and back to 2D.

This exercise was a four-step process and in each step, you were to have a set of rules for your drawing. Throughout the exercise, we exchanged three out of four drawings twice with other peers.

Throughout the exercise various media were used, Moving from digital to physical and between 2D and 3D representations.

PRO 01.

SEQUENTIAL EXPERIENCE

This project was to create a pavilion to exhibit based Barbra Hepworth’s sculptures. In addition, the design of the pavilion was also based on Barbra’s work with it being so circular and a whole experience for visitors to have. This pavilion is a full experience with a ramp going throughout the whole pavilion and in each space two ramps one going up and one going down to create a special experience.
