hello!
I’m so excited that you want to learn more about my photography eperience! I love everything that is photography. I also LOVE weddings! I truly enjoy having the priveledge of getting to know and spend time with my couples on the most magical day of their lives. Then collaborating with them to create beautiful art that they will be proud to have years later. I have a Bachelors of Fine Art in photography but photography isn’t my only love, my husband Geoff, little man Kade and my two adorable Boston Terriers keep my life wonderfully interesting!

the experience
I believe there’s more to wedding photography than the images that are captured and delivered. It should be an experience. One that you can l k back and remember the beauty and magic that happened on that day. I love building relationships and keeping friendships with my clients. The relationships I build allow me to seamlessly with ninja-like ability collect real life moments and emotion. I like to have a blend of creative & candid blend to tell the day with moments that are both natural and authentic. I strive to make the photography process fun and enjoyable for all!

A signed contract & 25% retainer of the contracted amount is required to reserve the date. A second 25% is due 4 months before the event, and the remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. A travel fee will be applied to any destination over 25 miles from the studio. Orders are subject to 9% C k County sales tax.

the engagement
I encourage every couple to take advantage of their complimentary engagement session. It is a time we can, not only get to know each better, but also it’s a great way to practice for the big day. At the engagement sh t, as well as the wedding, I coach each couple and guide them through the picture taking process to help make things as relaxed as possible. Don’t worry gr ms! Most gr ms tell me the actually had fun on their sh ts! Engagement sessions are as unique to each couple as their wedding. I work with each couple to determine the best location and m d that best reflects them. Couples typically ch se 1-2 outfits and of ten incorporate wedding themes and/or colors into their photos.
planning your timeline
Creating beautiful pictures takes organization and lots of planning. A well planned and thorough timeline lends itself to a sm th stress-free wedding as well as getting the most out of your pictures. The order of these events will vary based on your wedding and whether you ch se a first l k. The times are suggested minimums. Also take into consideration the time of the sunset if you are planning an outd r ceremony or photos. Getting Ready | 1 to 1.5 hours Plan for bridal detail shots such as the dress, shoes, veil and of course the bride putting on finishing touches! Ceremony | 30 minutes to 1.5 hours This varies greatly on the type of ceremony. Allow plenty of time for an exit or receiving guests, if planned. Formal Family Photos | 30 to 45 minutes The amount of time varies upon size of family and location. Wedding Party Photos | 45 minutes This also depends on how big the wedding party is. Don’t forget to plan extra time for travel if needed. The Newlyweds | 45 minutes This is the most important part and dedicated to just the newlyweds. If more time is needed highly consider a first l k before the ceremony. Reception | 3 to 4 hours C rdinate with your DJ or MC as to when the first dance, cake cutting ,etc will take place. Staying for the entire reception is usually unnessceary, but most couples want the formalities photographed. Ask us how we suggest to do a special exit.
My absolute favorite part of a wedding are the vows. In that moment you can see their unending love in their eyes and makes me thankful that I was there to witness it.
f.a.q’s Can we meet before we b k? Yes! Definitely! I love talking with couples and discussing their vision for their wedding. It also allows us to see if we’re a g d fit together. If you live out-of-state we can always skype! Do you travel for weddings? Absolutely! I love traveling for weddings and getting the opprotunity to capture new beautiful locations. We’ve traveled to southern California, Arizona and Indiana. Ask about our travel rates! How many photos will we receive? Since every wedding is different the number of images varies greatly. The number of photos we capture is based largely on the size of the wedding and the amount of time dedicated toward photo opprotuni-
ties. However, most couples receive more than 400 photos. How will you edit our photos? All images will be edited for color and tone. Album images will be handpicked and handcraf ted into beautiful works of art. When will we receive our images? Engagement session galleries will be online within 3 weeks. Wedding galleries will be online with in 5 weeks from the wedding day. Albums once approved and sent to print will be ready in 6 weeks. Can we substitute our engagement session from our collection to save money? The engagement session is complimentary and holds no monitary value in the collection. Unfortunately, it cannot be subtittuted. We do encourage all clients to take full advantage of the engagement session so that you’ll be comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day. Do your prices include sales tax? No, there’s 9% sales tax add to every order. We’re excited to b k. What’s the next step? I’m thrilled you chose us to be with you on your wedding day. Once you have ch sen your collection add ons a signed contract and 25% retainer will be due. Once that is completed the date is all yours!
