Introduction
This is PART I of the portfolio for the special program Fashion & Visual Culture of AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute) It shows the 8 week process of developing a feeling for atmospheres, lightning, framing and training the eye to look at visuals critically, asking yourself what is fashion and what isn’t. My work is self explanatory and interpret-free. It’s telling you something by showing you, just use your imagination.

In order to be creative you need BOREDOM. Wondering around and NOT KNOWING what you’re doing is part of the PROCESS. The best ideas POP UP when you’re about to FALL asleep, when your MIND is running on its deeper UNCONCIOUS level.

Fascination: Surrealism
Some people think, sometimes, they will think things are easy but things are always more complicated than they seem.
Those people will always see what they want to see.
They don’t understand that they should look further into themselves to find what they’re looking for.
Tomorrow is already gone.
