Anne Drouin Visual Artist CANADA

annedrouin@hotmail.com www.annedrouin.com

Flowers, drawings and colors are her greatest passions, all together they become portraits of flowers with vibrant colors and pure line; the link is the ardor of the painter.

Artist: Anne Drouin Title: Bal en blanc Medium: Oil on canvas Size: 30" x 60"

She was born an artist and has turned to many forms of art over the years to give voice to her creativity expression. Finally in 1988, she offered the form that would be the outlet for her passion...oil painting, she was doing it since she was twelve years old. Pure color, harmony and beauty in all its forms, those are hallmarks of her work. Her muse is the flower and her palette is full of color, blend directly on the canvas to get the right shade of the real one. Capturing the heart of what she paints and probably yours.

Hermine Visual Artist CANADA

info@herminart.com www.herminart.com

Hermine explores one of the most emotionally and symbolically charged disciplines in the plastic arts, the body. In her own way she recreates the human form. Straight-away she discovered the ideal dimensions in which to give her own sense of art and instinct full rein. To the point of believing that she had brought something new to the concept of realism, something at the intersection of the abstract and figurative, as if she were searching to release the elemental essence of her forms, that which lives outside of fashion and time. She has already become a formidable theoretician with all the requisite ability to successfully synthesize matter, object and emotion to create works with a strange beauty. Everything in her art works to serve a single reality: her passionate vision of being, filled with the shadow of death and the light of life.

Michelle Michaud Fine Artist CANADA

michellemichaudartistepeintre.com/

A native of the Bas Saint-Laurent region in Québec, I was first drawn to a career in teaching. This led me to pursue studies in psychology, after which I practised for 20 years as a clinical psychologist in an institutional setting. I now maintain a part-time private practice in Montréal, where, among other things, I assist my clients in reaching their full potential. Though my love of art stems from childhood, it is my fascination for the soul and unconscious mind that drew me to painting. At first simply as a means of self-expression and healing, painting quickly became a way for me to connect with the best part of me, as well as touch the inner world of others. A self-taught artist for over fifteen years, I approach painting from an intuitive level, drawing my inspiration from within. Besides my formal training in visual arts, I have been painting at l’Atelier du geste for the past eight years. I enjoy the process of refining my techniques and improving my compositions, which are either purely abstract or a balance between figurative and abstract art. I have shown my work in solo and collective exhibitions, both at home and abroad. In 2015, the Academy Arts, Sciences and Letters of Paris awarded me a prize for all my work and the evolution of my career. Because I see painting as a source of life, it becomes even more necessary for me to exhibit my work; to share my feelings visually to help others grow and exist in full vital energy. 39

Danielle Tremblay Visual Artist CANADA

tremblay.art@gmail.com www.tremblayart.ca

Danielle Tremblay views a blank canvas as she does any new experience, as an adventure. Her approach to art reflected a belief in freedom of true and uninhibited expression, exploration beyond the habitual, excavation of the self to prepare space for innovation. The process of painting serves as a springboard. She begins by tossing colour onto the white space, spreading , rotating the canvas, finding its orientation, allowing a sensation to evolve, ‘listening’ to the musicality that emerges from the mayhem of her random brushstrokes. Life experiences, random encounters, souls united by affairs of the heart, all linked by colour. And it is a magical amalgamation of brushstroke, paint texture, and colour that pulls together these experiences, giving life to their similarities and eccentricities. Danielle Tremblay attended Frère Jérôme’s - colleague of noted Canadian artist, Borduas - studio for the 25 years, during which time she completed a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree at Montreal’s Concordia University. She now attends Atelier du Geste in Montreal, run by artist Andrée Bonard, a studio with a similar mission to that of Frère Jérôme’s as well as her: develop the individual, inherent creative potential. She has had several solo and group exhibitions.
