We wanted to focus on how detailing can add interest to outfitting. We started out with three forms that had on basic outfits.!
Detailing Specifics! !-Adding accessories ! !-Pinning strategically so clothing fits the desired way! !-Editing the actual item by cutting! !-Working with forms that live together to create a cohesive thread! !-Giving an outfit a lived in feel by rolling sleeves, adjusting how clothing lays on the form! !-Being aware of pops of color ! !-Mixing textures! !-Layering!
Here we cut the sleeves off the oversized denim button up and rolled them to the shoulder. This lightened up the outfit and adds a worn in feel.!
By cu.ng a pair of ne8ed :ghts into shorts, we added texture and a pop of color. The leather fringe bag also adds texture while ac:ng as the neutral that pulls the mixed prints together.
T-‐pins were used to hold the sleeve in place and one a couple on the sides to give the shirt shape.
To tone down the peach dress and push 119 business, we layered a graphic tee. To give the form shape we used a woven belt. This also added9 color and print while holding the shirt in place.
A straw hat was added to this form as well. We used braided headbands to add a pop of color to the hat. The headbands also :ed this form and the dip dyed short form together.
When ouJi.ng with the bright dip dyed short, we wanted to use more neutral colors on top while s:ll adding print. We used the tank for its lighter print and the sweater added a stripe and even more texture. The accessories were kept simple with metal necklaces and small pouch with gold detailing.

RESULTS COMMON THREAD
The common thread throughout these girls is the pop of fuschia. It starts with the dip dyed short, con:nues to the braided headband on the hat. On the third form we see a bright, but small, pop of color with the ne8ed short.
PLACEMENT
The forms with shorts and the dress live together to play off their differences in length. The form with the printed dress works off of the other forms but can stand alone due to the mixing of prints and bolder details.
