Resilient Landscape Rain water Stroage and Sustainable Riverside Regenaration in Weifang,China Weifang City, Shandong Province has always enjoyed the reputation of "Kite Capital of the World" and is also the hometown of China's First Lady. As a mother river flowing through Weifang City, Bailang River now has a foul-smelling situation due to people's inattention to the environment. I will design ecological corridors on both sides of the Bailang River to restore the water quality and ecology of the river, and at the same time alleviate the harm caused by floods in the area. Use the terrain along the river bank to build plank roads, so as to reach the ecological wetland islands and achieve the purpose of crossing the river. During the design period, I also considered many things, such as how to purify the upstream water, what landscapes can be seen when there is no flood, what landscapes can be seen when the flood comes, and how to restore the ecology.

Traffic Analysis

Functional Division

Bailang River is the mother river of Weifang City. There are many parks nearby, and there are many traffic nearby. The main roads and secondary roads are intricate.

Flood Inundation Range

The special topography and geomorphological conditions of Weifang City result in large annual precipitation and uneven distribution of time and space. The river channel is steep, the flood is skyrocketing, the peak height is large, and the duration is short. The river channel is not able to vent, and it is easy to cause the dike to break down and form a flood disaster.

Pipeline Drainage Analysis

The Bailang River is different from the general rivers. Its own mobility is very poor. There is no natural runoff. The river water supply is basically based on the water supply and rainwater supply of the Bailanghe Reservoir. However, the current drainage system has not yet achieved complete flood and sewage diversion, and some sewage is discharged into the Bailang River. The sewage treatment plant has been overloaded and it is urgent to build a new sewage treatment facility. Due to the different planning, construction and management of the drainage pipe network system, the construction of drainage facilities lags behind the development of urban construction. In some new areas, there is no supporting construction of drainage pipes, which leads to the failure of drainage.

Propoesd Connections and River Points There are many buildings in the residential area, but at the same time there are many domestic garbage. The pollution of the Bailang River has also become serious. Protecting the water quality of the Bailang River has become a big problem.

In contrast, the commercial district has the most buildings. Although it is a commercial area, the riverside construction along the banks of the river is not satisfactory. Many places are overgrown, so this will be the focus of this project. One of the problem.

Water is the source of life. The precipiation in Weifang City is not high, which leads to the local need to rely on the exploitation of a large amount of groundwater resources, but this is not a long-term solution.

Most of the factories were built on the upper reaches o f t h e B a i l a n g R i v e r, causing a large amount of industrial pollution, which had a serious impact on the downstream. Therefore, how to filter water quality is also a problem to be considered.

The river points around the Bailang River are connected to make it a large pool that can be used, and then connected to the main river channel, which not only serves to purify the river water but also becomes a landscape belt.

Methodology

This ecological corridor along the river not only provides a place for citizens to entertain and relax, but also plays a role in restoring the ecosystem around the Bailang River. Although there is a corridor on only one side, there are three layers of boardwalks that allow people to better feel the terrain of the river bank. At the same time, the first boardwalk connects the river to the other side of the river. You can experience it.

In the 21st century, where science and technology and the rapid development of economy, especially in first-tier cities like Shanghai, the pace of life is even more terrifying. People are simply pursuing money and fame but ignoring the lack of green space around them. This is foolish. Now that the steel jungle is everywhere, it is difficult to see a green field, let alone a bird. High-rise buildings rise from the ground, spreading like a virus, Chongming Island is one of the few pieces of pure land. Chongming Island is located in Shanghai, China. It is one of the largest islands in China and has rich ecological resources. At the same time, the island is also one of the world's bird migration sites. This is my starting point, and I want to use the advantages of bird ecology to restore the wetlands on the edge of Chongming Island. The area I chose was also a bird sanctuary, but it was unexpected that no bird was seen during the field trip, the plant configuration was too single, the internal route was unplanned and the landscape was not playable node. Therefore, I want to redesign this bird sanctuary to make it a bird habitat again.

The tower has 9 landscape platforms, and a small coffee bar is set up on the second floor for visitors to rest and supplement. There are four landscape platforms on the sixth floor, southeast and northwest, which is one of the best landscape platforms. From the side, the reinforced concrete iron pillars are designed at a distance of 1 meter from the wooden tower, and the shadows in the sun are very interesting. Within this distance, a green space for adults and children is set.

This project chooses the section near the International Conference Center in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. This section is the golden section of this land and has very complete functions: administrative area, education area, business area and accommodation area. This is also the part of this section. Advantage. But at the same time, the disadvantages are also very obvious: the irrational design and planning of government roads, the handling of traffic during holidays and commuting hours, the irrational design of zebra crossings, overly crude sidewalks, and two possible causes due to traffic jams Traffic accident. Therefore, in view of the above disadvantages, I will design the road as a two-lane and a bus lane, and set up a green belt in the middle of the traffic lanes to rationally control the traffic flow to avoid unnecessary traffic jams. At the same time, the non-motorized lanes of the original roads were optimized, and the original green belt connecting the motorized lanes and non-motorized lanes was transformed into a bus station and a bicycle parking spot. For overly crude sidewalks, an extended landscape platform will be designed at each 50 meters to connect the bus station and bicycle parking spots. Due to the high latitude in Harbin and the large amount of snowfall in winter, I designed the original flat sidewalk to have a stepped top and bottom, which is more conducive to drainage treatment in rainy and snowy days. Greening points are set at the first and second steps, on the one hand for the sake of beauty, and on the other hand for the purpose of absorbing car exhaust to purify the air, and at the same time designing a water storage tank under each greening point to achieve the purpose of a rain garden. It is hoped that this design will alleviate the traffic situation in the region, and also hope that it can contribute to the world in alleviating the greenhouse effect.

The seemingly simple traffic route has only two main roads and three secondary roads. However, the problems caused by the primary and secondary interchanges are the troubles of the local residents. If it is not resolved in time, it will rise from the initial traffic jam problem to the traffic accident.

So the problems facing the region are still very serious. There are too few green plants in urban areas, and too many vehicles will cause poor air quality here in the future. The government's unreasonable road planning and design makes motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles not diverted, and traffic accidents often occur.

Sidewalk Cross Section Drainage System

The terrain of the sidewalk is designed to be stepped and progressive to the road layer. Rainwater can flow down from the highest level of the sidewalk, and there will be a water tank in the underground of each floor to facilitate water storage. At the same time, there are multiple pipelines that can cause flooding caused by excessive storage of rainwater. Drainage pipes are provided between the sidewalk and the road to relieve the pressure on the sidewalk drainage.

The project is located in Lincoln, UK. During my winter vacation in Lincoln, England, I found this weird lot in half of the parking lot and half of the wasteland. The location of this parking lot is very good, there is a transportation hub nearby. The entire parking lot is half-enclosed by Furniture City, across the road is Lincoln University, and there is a commercial street behind. In the 21st century, economy and technology are developing rapidly, and cars have become one of the most important mobility tools in people's lives. It is normal for each family to own a private car. The population is growing and the demand for vehicles is growing, but are parking spaces also growing? The answer is no. Nowadays, when people go out to drive, they must think of where to park and where the parking lot is cheap. In fact, this is a very serious problem. Drivers often encounter an embarrassing thing: they finally find a parking lot, go around and find that there is no parking space at all. And this time I started from this point. I installed sensor lights and sensors in the parking shed and installed solar panels on the roof at the same time, so that the parking shed has enough power to support the induction lights and sensors. Not only that, a mini rain garden is set at the top and bottom of the shed, so that when the rain comes, each shed can share the drainage system of the entire parking lot.

SITE ANALYSIS The location of the project is in Lincoln, England. Google maps show that the area is a furniture city, but after a field inspection, it was found that it was an abandoned wasteland at all. There are many furniture cities, supermarkets, residential areas and the University of Lincoln nearby. It has absolute advantages in geographical conditions. It is believed that after the transformation of this area, it will inject some vitality into the area.

What parents are most worried about when taking their children out is the loss of their children. If you design a place for children to play, parents can also shop with confidence.
