Introduction To practice excellence in healing we should understand the linkage between the physical and non-physical (energy) aspects of the human body. Our body is a powerhouse of energy; therefore it is our tool for channelling and releasing the universal life force. Without a basic understanding of what energy is and how it works within the body, we would be like a builder who, without knowing either his materials or his tools, sets out to build a house. The final result would be haphazard and inferior. So we need to understand the nature of energy. Firstly I would like to say that energy is an inadequate word, in years gone by, the energies within the body were not recognized, so there was no need for a vocabulary, with which, to describe them. These days however modern physicists like Fritjof Capra, R.D. Laing and Stanislav Grof have come up with discoveries that affirm what the mystics have always known and maintained, in the words of Fritjof: “A dramatic chance of concepts and ideas has occurred in physics during the first three decades of the century. Still being elaborated in our current theories of matter, the new concepts have profoundly changed our world view from the mechanistic thinking of Descartes and Newton to a holistic and ecological view……It is ….not surprising that the new vision of reality comes very close to the views of mystics of all ages and traditions and in particular, to the views held in the spiritual traditions of

3

India. Ten years ago, I was amazed to find the most striking parallels between modern physics and Eastern mysticism. These parallels can now be extended with equal justification to biology, psychology and other sciences. We now can say, with considered confidence, that the ancient wisdom of the East provides the most consistent philosophical background to our modern scientific theories. and a language to decode the miraculous wonders of the natural energy field. They have given to the world the great gift of translating complex concepts into easily understood wisdom. The language is Quantum Physics. With quantum physics we can at least describe the proven inter-relationship of all energy, its healing abilities and how to work with it.

The human body once considered a solid form, is really a vibrating mass of energy, made up of billions of whirling atoms. An atom is a nucleus, made up of positive, negative and neutral charges, in a state of constant vibration. We are made up of billions of these atoms. The world around us is like a vibrating soup made up of microwaves, gamma waves, radio waves, x-rays and many more; each very powerful, yet invisible to the human eye. Science tells us our bodies radiate microwaves about a thumb-nail wide and we emit quite large amounts of energy in the same high frequency as used by most radar transmitter.

4

When healing you are working with these same high frequency energies, so we must respect and understand these energies, the same way we respect and learn to use electricity, microwaves and x-rays in our daily life. Because we cannot see energy doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, like electricity, we cannot see it, but we can see its effects. For practical purposes we can say that these wave-lengths manifest in seven rays of vibrating currents, which appear to the human eye, like the colours of the rainbow. Within the body, this energy is divided into different energy levels, which we now call ‘CHAKRA’, meaning ‘wheel’ in Vedic and Sanskrit literature. It literally means “wheel of light”. To those with inner sight, it is often represented as a slowly or rapidly turning wheel, or vortex of energy. Rosalyn L Bruyere (1989) in ‘Wheels of Light’ states: “While most traditions refer to seven major chakras, some name fewer centers. Tibetan literature, for instance, identifies only six chakra. It is generally understood, however, that when we refer to a chakras we mean one of the major energy centers within the body. With the addition of the two higher chakras that exist outside the body - the Atman and the Brahman - there are actual nine chakras” I feel that in fact that as we get closer to the year 2000, we have eight major chakras centers that need to be addressed. The thymus chakra which has been consider, in the past, one of the minor chakra points, is now about to play a major role in our chakra system and our bodies energy system.

What is this energy, which is as individual as each human experiencing it? Is it :-

5

Orgone? - Kundalini? - Universal life-force? - Shakti? - Ki? Chi? - Prana? - Animal magnetism? - The Holy Spirit? All of the above?

It is the power of the True SELF, the power of consciousness!

Muktananda (1992) expressed energy in a discourse: “Seer and sages have said that kundalini is the nature of the Absolute; she is supremely free, blissful and allpowerful, She is the Divine Goddess from whom everything emanates, the Divine Mother. In Her threefold aspect as the Creator, the Preserver and the Destroyer She perpetuates the human race. The kundalini that dwells within each of you is the supreme object of worship, and you should make sure that you are able to experience her directly.” “Kundalini is also as the Supreme Power. She is also called the dance, the divine play and the Divine Power that makes everything move and creates the Universe that sets the wheel of energy into motion within each of us. If you could see this Truth you would realize that the Universe is nothing but an expression of this divine power.”

The science of Quantum Physics has taught we two very important things:1. All matter is inseparable and all particles are connected 2. The whole of reality at the deepest level is in some way dependent on mind mind brings matter into existence.

6

What has this to do with healing? When we can view the human body as an energy source, rather than solid physical matter, and realise all matter is inseparable, we come closer to understanding how healing works. The power of thoughts and emotions on disease is of major importance to us as healers and counsellors. So we can no longer view the human body as physical matter, now we need to incorporate the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our humanness.

The body is surrounded by its own energy field much like an egg shape. Dr. Douglas Baker (1975) in ‘The Jewel in the Lotus’ states: “This astral body interpenetrates the physical body and its energy fields ‘stand out’ beyond the surface of the skin” When Matthew (17:2) describes the transfiguration of Christ, he says that Jesus’ face “Did shine as the sun’” and “his raiment was white as the light.” Luke (9:29) adds that Jesus’ raiment was “glistering.” This is a Biblical description of Christ’s aura, which Peter, James and John (the Apostles) were able to see. This energy is our Auric field or electromagnetic field of energy. This energy field is a four layer field that extends out to over 27 feet around us. The first layer is the physical aura, the second is the emotional aura, the third the mental aura and the fourth the spiritual aura. In Native American tradition, the radiant aura of the buffalo has given rise to the legend of the white buffalo. The colours associated with this Auric field are the colours:- red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, indigo and violet. These auric field colours are very specifically related to the chakras. This auric field is also related to the mind. When

7

most of us think of the mind, we immediately think of the brain! The mind is not the brain. Thought and memory seem to exist throughout the body, memory being stored within the body’s connective tissue. Thought itself can also be described as a form of energy.

The auric field is a metaphor for life. In other words, a person’s energy field or the individual aura around the body, which is created and controlled by the chakras, reflects how one’s life actually if living; it mirrors the flow of that life. In this way, the auric field becomes more than a symbol for life. The aura is life!

Review of Literature:

WHEELS OF LIGHT

The existence of chakras, auras and our body being solely made up of energy to some people seems preposterous and impossible. Unbelieveable fiction! It is not. From personal experience I know that energy can be seen and heard if you are sensitive to the vibrations. You need to allow yourself to be open to the vibrations around you. Most of us have in a small way, felt auras before, even if we did not realise it! It’s that feeling you have when you feel uncomfortable around another person. You don’t know why but you just feel it! It’s when someone steps into your space. We all have personal space around us. Our aura space, if you want, which usually extends out about three feet. City dwellers seem to need less personal space than country folk. If you doubt this, try a little exercise of closing your eyes and having someone slowly approach you from the front and tell them to stop when you start to feel uncomfortable. Open your eyes and check to see how close they got to you. This will show you the size of your ‘personal space’ as I call it. Once someone steps inside your personal space you will begin to feel invaded and uncomfortable. What you are feeling is their entry into your aura and the merging of both your aura and theirs. You will find with this exercise, that friends and family members can step inside your space without you

9

feeling as uncomfortable. They will actually be able to get quiet close to you before you tell them to stop.

Rosalyn L Bruyere (1989) in WHEELS OF LIGHT states “Even those who can’t see the aura can still have an experience of it. The aura is what keeps us from bumping our shopping carts, into one another in the supermarket. It’s what allows us to sense another’s presence in a darkened room, and it’s what makes someone turn to look at us across a crowded room. This implies that the aura is not just a reflection of light, as might has been assumed from the literary descriptions and paintings of old. It is an emanation, a luminous radiation, a field of light or energy that extends beyond the body to interact with our external environment. It is an energy system that keeps body and mind alive and healthy, and may in actuality create them.”

She goes on to state “The aura itself is generated by the spinning of smaller vortices of energy located within the body. Different religious traditions have called these subtle energy centers different things, but the word most commonly used is chakra from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘wheel of light’. These seven chakras are who and what we are, what we feel and how we think and change. They are how we express ourselves and how we create. Although we as Westerners have no cognitive awareness of its energies, the chakra system is precisely the means by which we gain awareness. It is how we experience life, how we perceive reality and how we relate to self, others, and the world, it is life itself. As we explore the aura and the chakras, it is important for us to view our journey not as revolutionary, but rather as very

10

traditional. Chakras, as well as aura and electromagnetic fields, are as old as the earth itself. The chakra system in fact, is a part of the ancient and lost mysteries. And in the end, the chakra system in our bodies is how we find our way back to the most ancient mystery of all - God, the Oneness, the Omniscient

From a study undertaken by Dr. Valerie Hunt, Chairman of the Department of Kinesiology at UCLA, she concluded that what science had been calling the human energy field, or the mind field and what religious traditions had been calling the auric field were one and the same. Furthermore, the results of her research provided evidence that this large electromagnetic energy field is in fact generated by the smaller internal vortices of energy, the chakras, the source of the human aura. The human energy field. At the same time, other scientists too were coming to the conclusion that the mind is not the brain, but that it is an energy field in and around the body.

Rosslyn L Bruyere (1989) WHEELS OF LIGHT states: “The seven major chakras are located along a central axis parallel to the spinal column of the physical body. Each major chakra has a traditional placement. The placement of the first chakra is between the base of the spine and the public bone. The second chakra is situated behind and just below the navel. The third chakra should sit in the V formed by the rib cage; however in most Americans, the third center is displaced to the left so that its location is closer to the pancreas than to the

11

center of the body. The fourth center, or heart chakra, is situated midway between the two breasts, while the fifth chakra is located at the throat. The sixth chakra, also referred to as ‘the third eye’ is located between the brows, and the seventh, or crown chakra, which faces upward, is located at the top of the head. The first three chakras are often termed the ‘lower chakras’ or the ‘lower centers’ the fourth chakra, the ‘transitional’ or the ‘transformational center’ and the upper chakras referred to as the ‘upper chakras ‘ or the ‘upper centers’.”

The research conducted by Dr. Valerie Hunt at UCLA did, in fact, match sound to colour; vibration and colour correlated directly. Vibration, colour and sound are all interrelated, and all three represent a means of determining or monitoring the frequency of energy in the auric field.

Therefore I feel the energy is the basic component of the body. The only thing that affects our bodies is the level and kind of energy to which we exposed it to. If we view our bodies as energy and consider everything that affects it according to an energy model, we will begin to understand the relationship between chemicals and our bodies, food and our bodies, light and our bodies, sound and our bodies and the relationship between ourselves and others. By using this model, we come to see our bodies as more than a simple internal-combustion engine that works only on food

12

and water. We arrive at a more subtle understanding of the electro-chemical, energy production value not only of our food intake but of anything we ingest. We are no less affected by air pollution, noise pollution or even people pollution. If we are exposed to negative energies of any kind for long enough, the result will be detrimental to our health. Our physical, emotional, mental or spiritual health!

THE CHAKRA LINK THE NEW THYMUS CHAKRA

“All powerful initiators have perceived in one moment of their lives the radiance of central truth, but the light which they drew from it was refactured and coloured according to their genius, their mission, their particular time and place”

Shure

The first modern description of chakra energies or of what we call the aura or auric field was made by Sir Isaac Newton in 1729 in his second paper on light and colours. In this paper Newton spoke of an ‘electromagnetic’ light, a ‘subtle, vibrating, electric and elastic medium’ that was excitable and exhibited phenomena such as repulsion, attraction, sensation, and motions, anticipating in many ways the electromagnetic field theories of Michael Faraday and James Clerk Maxwell a hundred years later.

14

Lets look at the chakras in detail:

There have been many variations on the number of chakras within the body. The Tibetans often spoke of six chakras or centers of energy, while the Chinese yogi spoke of as many as 30 centers along the spine and 24 down the front of the torso. Some cultures mention eight, ten or twelve. The Taoist speaks of six. The location of these energy centers also vary with different cultures, some say they are based along the spine. The Cabbala said there were seven chakras or gates to the soul in man. Carl Jung commented that chakras were gateways of consciousness in man, reception points for the inflow of energy from the cosmos and spirit and soul of man. Although there are minor energy centers on the shoulders, hands and feet, I will discuss the seven major chakras plus the thymus chakra, as I feel that as we get closer to the year 2000, the thymus chakra is beginning to open up in more and more people. To me, I see that there are eight major chakras that need to be taken into account as we move closer to the new millennium. For centuries, the chakra system, in it’s entirely, totaled 144 highly sensitized energy points. These chakras or centers are points of Light energy where healing may be applied or energized so that healing and or enlightenment may take place. They are the electrical pathway of the body, like a pattern, so that you are made aware of your system more clearly. As a rule, most people consider the chakra system to house eight main centers.

15

The first chakra is at the base of the spine and called the root or base chakra and its main functions are grounding the energies, all the survival instincts, the ovaries or testes (fertility), the large intestine and bones, it’s colour is red. The second chakra is located just above the first in the reproductive area and is called the spleen or sacral chakra. Its main functions are the emotions, security, clairsentience, panaceas, kidneys, skin and uterus, and its colour is orange. The third chakra is called the solar plexus chakra or center and is the largest center in the body dealing with powerful emotions, power, energy, creativity, the adrenals, liver, gall bladder, stomach, blood and lymph glands and it’s colour is yellow. The fourth chakra is located in the heart center and deals with personal love and universal compassion, the heart, and breast area, and its colour is green. The fifth chakra is at the base of the throat and deals with creative communication, clairaudience, the thyroid gland, shoulders and their joints, the lungs and bronchial tubes and esophagus and its colour is blue. The sixth chakra is at the third eye, between the brows and guides intuition, increases creative insight, clairvoyance and houses the pineal gland, and its colour is indigo. The seventh chakra is located at the top of the head and guides the universal consciousness, mediumship, houses the pituitary gland and its colour is violet or purple. The eight chakra is located about 12 to 18 inches above the head (depending on the awareness of the individual) and is called the transpersonal or soul chakra at which point the higher self of Spirit greets the physical and its colour is pure white.

16

These chakras have been in place and studied for centuries and it will be a very big change to have to make room for one more., but it is a blessing and quite necessary to do so. The thymus chakra has been placed in us at the thymus point half way between the heart and throat centers, over the thymus gland. It can be measured by placing the thumb in the notch of bones at the collar bone, and the little finger stretched as far as it will go to the heart. At the point at the center of the palm is the thyroid center, and its colour is turquoise blue - the reflection of the green of the heart and the blue of the throat. Those who see clairvoyantly will already see beginnings of this bright center and those who have been working to strengthen this center will show a clear and bright turquoise in the aura. The old system of seven chakras and numbering 144 in total, altogether totaled 9 in numerology and the nine represents completion. As such, it was correct for the times and spirituality, but now the total is 145 which totals 10 and the ten reduced is one and 1 is the number of new beginnings. How appropriate as we move closer to the year 2000. The Thymus Chakra has also been called the ‘Christ chakra’ or the ‘Seat of the Soul’. It is the 4½th chakra and is placed between the heart and the throat chakras. Gentle tapping on the chakra point every morning can help to activate this chakra.

Judith Pillsbury, MS., CMT. Personal Growth Consultant (1992) quoted in her Chakra Brochure “Thymus Chakra - Newly activated for viral protection/immune stimulant. Bridge between throat and heart. The future equipment for new forms of

17

spiritual expression. Colour usually brilliant turquoise with thin yellow rings around it. If not yet open, will be perceived as dark spot. Turquoise and Lapis stones excellent for this center”

When we work with the eight major energy centers we are also working with the major glands and the body’s nervous system. When we are angry, fearful, resentful or extremely jealous, an immediate response goes through the endocrine system and minute secretions are released into the blood stream, which can affect every cell of the body. In a ‘fight or flight’ situation these are very useful, we need to get the adrenaline pumping, but it we continually have strong emotional responses you can imagine what is happening to our body. Eventually we become ill, our body cannot cope, and this is when our energy system also begins to clog up. Fears come in many disguises, the loss of a job or a loved one, financial difficulties, shame, guilt, anger and resentment. The more we can clear our own personal issues the better the energy is able to flow, the more balanced and centered we become.

CHAKRAS ONE, TWO & THREE = THE PHYSICAL TRIAD

1st chakra - Base or Root Chakra Element of Fire, Planet of Mars, Musical Note - Do, the colour is RED,‘I have’, Survival, grounding, solidity, force, vigour, energy, the body.

18

Situated at the base of the spine, the corresponding gland is the GONADS. This is the energy center of raw energy, sexual energy, our survival; the ‘flight or fight’ response comes from this chakra. Its function is to respond to any issues concerning survival: eating, sleeping, exercising, recovery from illness, making a living, shelter, simply feeling safe and secure. This chakra is depicted as the 4 petal lotus. There are four vortices of energy in this chakra point.

RELATED DISEASES: Various Veins, Leg problems, Sciatica, Chronic Lower Back pain, Lack of personal power, Relationships.

COLOUR RED:- this colour has the slowest wavelength. Red is the symbol of life, strength and vitality. Red is a good colour to treat anemia or iron deficiency. Red is a very powerful energizer and stimulant which relates to the masculine energy, through its effect on hemoglobin. It increases energy, raises body temperature and improves the circulation, which makes it a good colour for use in paralysis. However because of its powerful energizing and stimulating properties, Red is not used a great deal in therapy, especially where there is anxiety or emotional disturbance.

2nd Chakra - Sacral, Navel, Spleen or Reproductive Chakra Element is Water, Planet Sun, Muscial Note - Re, colour ORANGE, ‘I want’, Polarity, movement, sexuality, pleasure, thoughtfulness, consideration.

19

This chakra also relates to raw energy, power and family relationship difficulties. The corresponding gland is the PANCREAS. This chakra is depicted as the 6 petal lotus. There are six vortices of energy in this chakra point.

RELATED DISEASE: Bladder, Reproductive system, Hormone production.

COLOUR ORANGE: Orange is the symbol of feminine energy. The energy of creation. Orange is the colour of joy and happiness and enables us to create a balance between our physical and mental bodies. Orange brings about change in the biochemical structures, results in the dispersing of depression. This make it a good colour to use with people who are manic depressive or suicidal.

3rd Chakra - Solar Plexus -The Power Chakra Element is Fire, Planet is Mercury, Muscial Note - Me, the colour is YELLOW, ‘I Can’, power, will, energy, transformation, health, well-being, friendliness. This chakra is a major area, both physically and energy wise. The third chakra is the body’s emotional response area, our Center of power, (or lack of it). Medically speaking this area is a prime importance as most of the body’s vital organs are situated here. Corresponding glands is the ADRENALS and the PANCREAS. This chakra is depicted as the 10 petal lotus. There are ten vortices (vortexes) of energy in this chakra point.

20

RELATED DISEASES: The Pancreas produces insulin, which regulates the metabolism of sugar; the adrenals produces adrenaline and hormones. So the Gallbladder, Kidneys, Liver, Intestines, Colon, Pancreas and Adrenals are affected.

COLOUR YELLOW: Yellow is the symbol of the mind and intellect. Represents the power of thought and intellectuality and stimulates mental activity. It is the colour of detachment and can help us to detach from obsessional thoughts, feelings and habits. Yellow can be an effective colour when used in conjunction with counselling because it reveals a persons weaknesses and help to release deep seated problem. Yellow works with the skin by improving its texture, cleansing and healing scars and other disorders such as eczema.

CHAKRA FOUR = THE BRIDGE FROM THE PHYSCIAL TO SPIRITUAL

4th Chakra - Heart Chakra Element is Air, Planet is Saturn, Musical Note - Fa, the colour is Green, ‘I Love’, Love, balance, healing, helpful, relationship and compassion. Air is formless, largely invisible, absolutely necessary, and the least dense of our first four elements. Located over the heart, is the balance point between these two extremes: the integrator of mind and body, believed to be the central home of the spirit. This chakra is depicted as the 12 petal lotus. There are twelve vortices of energy in this chakra point.

21

RELATED DISEASES: the Heart, Allergies, Asthma, Cancer, Cleansing, Bronchial difficulties and Circulation are controlled here. Also Knees and skeleton.

COLOUR GREEN: Green is the colour of balance, harmony and sympathy and therefore has the power to bring the negative and positive energies of a human being into balance. Green has antiseptic properties which make it useful in cases of infection. It can also be used for detoxification and in some cases of heart disease. A pregnant woman should never be treated with this colour.

4½th

Chakra - Thymus, Christ, Seat of the Soul Chakra

Element is senses, Planet is Neptune, Colour is TURQUOISE, ‘I Feel’, calmness, purity. The thymus, although not always recognized as an endocrine gland, is situated in the area of the heart and controls the circulatory system and lungs and is linked to our immune system and lymph tissue development. This chakra is depicted as the 14 petal lotus. There are FOURTEEN vortices of energy in this chakra point.

RELATED DISEASES: Immune system, Nervous system, AIDS (HIV), lymphatic.

22

COLOUR TURQUOISE: Turquoise is the colour used to boost the immune system. Because turquoise has a strengthening effect upon the immune system, it is used for infections, septic conditions and AIDS. As AIDS is a virus which destroys the immune system, endeavoring to strengthen this system with turquoise can potentially prolong an AIDS sufferer’s life.

CHAKRAS FIVE, SIX & SEVEN - SPIRITUAL TRIAD

5th Chakra - Throat Chakra Element is sound, Planet is Jupiter, Musical Note - Sol, the colour is BLUE, ‘I Speak’, spiritual, artistic, selfless, creativity, communication, relaxation, sleep, peace, expansion. This is the energy of the spoken word, people who feel their opinions and ideas cannot be verbally expressed will have problems here. The corresponding gland is the Thyroid.

This chakra is depicted as the 16 petal lotus. There are SIXTEEN vortices of energy in this chakra point.

RELATED DISEASES: The Teeth, Throat, Sinuses and Jaw, as well as Tension Headaches at the base of the skull; problems with the Thyroid and Laryngitis. Calcium, communication, hips and coccygeal vertebrae.

23

COLOUR BLUE: Blue is the colour of communication. Blue can be cool, calm and collected. It works well with communication because the energy flows like water. It can represent peace and spirituality. Blue provides sensitivity and yet it can make the best of barriers against warmer energies. The old saying ‘cold should’ treatment is the best way to describe what blue can do!

6th Chakra - Third Eye, Brow, Head, Vision Chakra Element is light, Planet is Venus, Muscial Note - La, the colour is INDIGO, ‘I See’, Seeking, religious, clairvoyance, memory, dreams, visions and colour. Dignity, divinity, honour, value, hope. The sixth chakra is mystically known as the third eye, or centre of wisdom beyond the physical world. The corresponding gland is the Pituitary Gland. This chakra is depicted as the 96 petal lotus. There are NINETY-SIX vortices of energy in this chakra point.

RELATED DISEASES: Migraine headaches and emotional problems, brain tumors, blindness, comas, deafness, depressions and learning difficulties. COLOUR INDIGO: The colour indigo symbolizes inspiration and creativity. Indigo is often employed to treat hearing disorders and loss of smell and is used as an aid to cataract sufferers.

24

7th Chakra - Crown Chakra Element is thought, Planet is Moon, Musical Note - Ti, the colour is VOILET, ‘I Know’, understanding, patterns, changes, freedom, to let go of old habits no longer applicable, awareness and meditation. The final transition into spirit at the correct time. The crown chakra is the most significantly characterized by a quality of ‘withinness’. It is our gateway to ‘cosmic consciousness’ or ‘higher consciousness’. It is the place where we study consciousness itself. Situated at the top of the head and related gland is the Pineal Gland. This chakra controls the brain and the nerve center of the entire body. The brain is likened to a human embryo or foetus; we are told that the brain is both male and female in its make-up. The pituitary gland represents the female and physical aspects, the pineal gland represents the male and spiritual aspects of our being. Mystically speaking, the third eye can only reach its greatest potential when a ‘union’ of these two glands takes place. Then we experience the birth of real consciousness. This chakra is depicted as the 1000 petal lotus. There are 972 vortices of energy in this chakra point.

RELATED DISEASES: Genetic disorders, the Nervous system, paralysis and bone problems.

COLOUR VOILET: The colour violet is said to influence the brain and its esoteric counterpart, the spirit. Colour therapists believe violet light can help relieve

25

headaches, epilepsy, mental disorders and meningitis. Violet is the most sensitive colour on the colour wheel. Violet provides a combination of wisdom and understanding. Violet transmutes other energy to its vibration.

Together the EIGHT CHAKRAS form a connecting ladder for us between matter and consciousness, body and mind - HEAVEN AND EARTH - YIN & YANG. Each of us steps up this ladder as we find the steps that are within us. In order for us to be whole, we must climb the ladder. Therefore each chakra is of equal importance. Each chakra individually gives us important keys about our strength and weakness, by outlining areas in our life we need to work with.

This is the CHAKRA LINK in the body’s Energy System.

DISCUSSION: THE LOVING COMMUNICATION CENTER

“Nothing is wrong, just seek deeper within for the Truth”, the voice of Jesus invited. In my own experience and through working with thousands of students in my own classes and workshops in Reiki, Colour Therapy and The Chakra System, my own findings equates to the results as concluded previously. However, I notice that most literature focus excessively on the main seven chakras, while in fact we have hundreds, located all over the body. I now feel that we must address at least EIGHT as the major chakra points. The Thymus chakra has been considered up until now as one of the minor chakra point along the Hara line in the body. Its importance is being felt around the globe as more and more people are activating their 4½th chakra. The THYMUS CHAKRA is so centered to cause a pull between the heart and the throat centers, thus empowering the loving communication between the human and Spirit. In this new high-energy communication level between Spirit and the physical, there will be many things accomplished in the body and in the levels of awareness! First and most important for the now is moving the loving communication out to reach the many who are in fear, threat and denial of the many changes that are here presently and coming everyday for the earth and the physical body. The loving communication must be first and even though most feel that this sounds simplistic, how many can honestly say that they are teaching others about the metaphysical ways, translating the coming changes in not only small portions at a time, so that the psyche of another is not harmed, but also giving that

27

information in a very loving way to all that they come in contact with. Not many! There is a fear of others learning that you believe in different ways than the religions past has offered. Even now in our knowledge of metaphysical thinking, we hold to our small groups and cliques in order to have a feeling of ‘family and safeness’. How can the many come to this knowledge and begin to be aware and awake unless we spread the words of higher consciousness to all? It is again fear on our part, that we will be denied or defamed in some way. The ego still rules! Now as the THYMUS CENTER is installed, we are asked to pull in energy from both the heart and the throat and feel for the first time, in such high energy, the combination of these two centers as one. We will be in a state of pure loving communication as we do this, so we will be able to talk with a person one to one in a very feeling way, so that the trust and understanding between us becomes the most important thing. Now is the time to gather up the ones who do not know and tell them of the changes and have them begin to discover the wonders within themselves. The loving communication center will begin to be felt by many people and in some be so strong that they will feel that there is danger of angina or some other heart related disease. They will not be aware of this new source of power in the body and they will find themselves worrying about their health and running off to the doctor to find a cure. They will get a check up only to find that they are in perfect health then they will realise that they are ok, and make their first steps into this new realm! The awakening of their Thymus Chakra. Loving communication is the basis of this patterning in the body and is a powerful force for these hard times on earth. If only all could understand that the need is to ‘come from the heart’ at this time, there

28

would be so little pain and so much love! This is also a high level source of communication between Spirit and the human element. Jung explored the teachings of Mystics and Metaphysicians throughout the ages, trying to penetrate to the deepest layers of the human mind and consciousness. And he will undoubtedly remain the greatest psychologist of this century, because he incorporated into Psychology the teachings of Metaphysics. The discoveries of Jung are saturated by truth, found from studying Metaphysics to its fullest, realizing that the most basic ideas presented in Metaphysics have an Eastern origin. One thing though, Jung was not aware of, was the evolutionary speed of the wakening taking place in the Western world in the past 30 years, especially as we get closer to the new millennium.

Yogananda (1964) during Meditations at the Self-Realization Fellowship said “When you find that your soul, your heart, every wisp of inspiration, every speck of the vast blue sky and its shinning star-blossoms, the mountains, the earth, - and the bluebells are all tied together with one chord of rhythm, one cord of joy, one cord of unity, one cord of spirit, then you shall know that all are waves in the same cosmic sea. Infinite energy, infinite wisdom, recharged with spiritual vibrations. I am sure that the rapid progress will create some enormous havoc, anger and suffering, before the state of bliss sets in. This is where and why the Doctors of Metaphysical Science, or Metaphysicians can and must assist with the activating of this gift - THE THYMUS CHAKRA - LOVING COMMUNICATION CENTRE.

We must see this as our duty to assist others through this process, we as the modern Metaphysician of the New Age (Age of Aquarius), must help guide our fellow humans, towards holistic, totally unifying healing and expansion. We must help to prepare the physical body, as well as the mental, emotional and spiritual concerns. If we as Metaphysicians are unprepared for this challenge, society will direct millions of frustrated awakenings to the nearest medical doctors, psychiatrist, counsellor, or worse: to a mental institution or a traditional church! We need to inform people that a Metaphysician may be the only guide who can provide them with the directions towards an understanding of the body’s life-force energy and the LOVING COMMUNICATION CENTRE.

Summary and Conclusions:

NOTHING IS REALLY SOLID

It is important that Metaphysicians are aware of the importance of the opening of the 4½ chakra and the physical symptoms that people will experience while this process is taking place. The activation can take place over a period of time - up to 5 years in a gradual stage. The Thymus will open in a stage of rings. The first ring will bring in the loving communication, the second ring will act as a filter and converter, the third rings will connect the 3rd and 6th chakra and the last ring the fourth will act as a transfer station. This transfer station is a specialized point, and not every person in this life experience will experience this. We only experience this final evolution and enlightenment when we are in our last life experience, or so say the Eastern teachers. Kundalini is the personal aspect of the Universal Life force. One of the most ancient treatises on yoga, Hatha Yoga Pradipika describes kundalini this way: “As one opens the door with a key, so the yogi should open the gates of liberation….with the kundalini. The greatest goddess (kundalini) sleeps, closing with her mouth the opening through which one can ascend to the brahmarandhra..to the place where there is neither pain nor suffering. The kundalini sleeps above the kanda…She gives liberation to the yogi and bondage to the fool. He who knows kundalini knows yoga.

The kundalini it is said, is coiled like a serpent. He who can induce her to move (upwards) is liberated.

There is a special added benefit of having this chakra installed in this time on Earth. The action of filtering and converting of the electrostatic energies of the 4th dimension into electromagnetic energy is for powerful use, and the process of pulling the chakras together for more power, and the loving communication center being empowered and last but surely not least, the huge transfer station, may all be moved into action to create more white blood cells to fight infection and create a strong immune system in this time when the immune system is at it’s lowest in history in some people. Terrible illnesses can be diverted and even stopped by putting this new and powerful chakra into action. When a person is in great need and the immune system is low, the forth ring can be activated for this use only, even if they are not ready to go through the kundalini process. The body knows what it needs, and Spirit, will help those who need the process allowing that the kundalini is not disturbed until it is time. This is a precious gift indeed! We need to understand that every thing is energy and energy is not solid. If everything is energy and energy is not solid then NOTHING IS REALLY SOLID!
