Designing has always been my favourite hobby, I am a strong believer in the ability of Architecture and research combined with design thinking for strengthening our societies and having a positive effect on the world. The approach to my designs is very simplistic and minimalistic inspired by sustainability and incorporating the contemporary elements of design.

FINAL CONCEPTUAL DESIGN :
It is observed from above figures that Office building in Tianjin has more opening than in Nagpur. This is due to Tianjin lies in Cold climate conditions and building require more sunlight to heat the space and Nagpur is in hot region which require less sunlight to keep the space cool. The office building in Tianjin has wider opening in south, which resembles with same concept that sun lies in south for most of the day in Tianjin. These features are following prevalent passive design strategies. As the model was developed in a parametric environment it can be further developed by using data already available there. Further these concepts can be optimized by performing daylighting and energy simulation.

The form of the building makes nodes for view frames on all sides so as to be able to fully attain the views. The atrium and courtyard provide for the arbitary wind direction to flow through and accross building but if intended can be shut off from the outside. The atrium would also provide for the daylighting and in the volumes and thus add as a major energy efficient aspect .

The Site is located in hot and humid climate conditions. The design problem introduced was a Sustainable school for 300 students. The main idea of sustainability adhered to while designing the school. Two main aspects were focused on while designing is the use of local material and local design elements. Nagpur has big bamboo jungle surrounding it and an abundance of red brick. These two materials are considered in this design. The design is kept simple and yet sustainable so that cost can be reduced as well as energy consumption is minimized. The environmental analysis showed reduced electricity consumption. The use of brick jali helped in natural ventilation along with the combination of the courtyard in the centre.
CFD Analysis show that use of jali openings provide ventilation throughout the classroom. Different shapes and openings were tested and best one is used in the design.
