Product Overview Picnic Attack is a 3D Tower Defence game that is set in a park, you’re enjoying a nice picnic out when it is interrupted by Ants; Wasps; Beetles and many other critters. It is your job to keep these bugs away from your food, you can do this from a various view points in the park, you can shoot the bugs yourself in first person mode; you can set up turrets to stop the bugs from progressing or slow them down; you also have to look out for Ant hills that can pop up at random locations arround the map. The first point to defend is your sandwiches, the longer you hold the bugs off, the tougher they get, you then have to fight them off from getting your hotdog; after this you will defend the final point which are your cupcakes. You have a choice of 3 turrets, a fly swatter; shooting fly swatter and bug spray. The turrets are all unique in their ability to defend your food and keep the bugs at bay. The enemies and turrets become stronger throughout the game. The enemies become faster and stronger, there is also a variety of different ways that the enemies can travel.
Product Overview To give the game a unique feel, there is a difference in gameplay to the usual tower defence, rather than just a top down view, we offer the player a first person experience for defending the picnic. Pressing C allows the player to switch between a first-person view to go on the ground and shoot the enemies; the other camera is a top down view of the map, this allows the player to track where the enemies are going, how close they are to the food and allows for better turret management. The HUD will allow players to monitor their money; health and what wave of enemies they are currently on, it will also give them the option to pick between what turrets they place onto the map. The health is displayed on the enemies and the food by red square counters shown above the head of the enemies or above the food. The bugs will be relentless with waves of them attacking your picnic, once the bugs have devoured all the food it will be game over.
