DON’T MOVE

CREATURE DESIGN Director’s Notes:

BODY REFERENCE

So the logic for the film is that the group of friends gather to play a Ouija game together in the attempt to contact the other side. Most of the six 20/30 something’s have no faith whatsoever that the Ouija will at all succeed but unfortunately for them their careless flirtation with the netherworld has sparked the interest in a rather restless and vengeful spirit. Paul’s reckless choice of the Ouija has angered those below, and the sexual tension between Anna and Marc has further roused the dark intentions of the other side’s worst. The group had hoped to tickle the top soil of the underworld but inadvertently have dug way, way deeper. Our Spectre/Demon is a minion from the darkest recess of limbo and one whom enjoys the torment of others and can interact with the material world by playing games with its mortal inhabitants. Although oppressive in stature it is relatively weak when it first treads the mortal coil, but as it plays out it’s gruesome game it becomes stronger and more playful with every kill. KILLING IS THE NAME OF THE GAME and the spectre enjoys every victim’s demise, drinking up the panic and horror experienced by it’s fleshy prey like it was the first. It is thousands of years old, twisted, pure evil, hate and torture. The spectre is shrouded in dark materials and hooded upon first appearance, We get to see it’s elongated, claws that protrude from massive stretched and gnarled hands that grope from under the shroud.
