SINGING ROCK dynamic ropes are the only ones in the world manufactured with a licence for the DuPont™ TEFLON® fabric protector. The ropes protected with a layer of TEFLON® are distinguished by their resistance to water and abrasion. TEFLON® also effectively prevents the penetration of dust particles into the structure of the ropes and thus increases their service life and your safety! Why do you need resistance to water and abrasion? Maximum water and abrasion resistance are among the most important requirements when choosing the correct rope. Each dynamic rope is exposed to the affects of moisture and abrasion during its use – both of these factors have a huge influence on the climber´s safety.

Thermotransfer Thermotransfer of the label on all Singing Rock ropes. Thermo-transfer is a special plastic label applied to the rope sheath by using heat and pressure. This label is durable, does not peel off and the rope ends are not wider which can cause the rope end get caught up (for example in rappel stations, etc).

Ultrasonic an excellent system for rope ends Our own special technology has been used for the ends of the rope. All SINGING ROCK rope ends are done with a unique technology called ULTRASONIC, which means that the load-bearing core and the protective sheath are joined into a compact unit on the last 15 mm of the rope

Route 44 experience the touch of the future Route 44 is a unique technology invented and patented by Singing Rock. It opens new horizons for the braiding of climbing and static ropes. Key-lock for easy manipulation Key lock is an extremely simple and ingenious locking system that solves the problems associated with the traditional design of carabiners. It eliminates the risk of ropes or tapes becoming entangled in the lever or in the carabiner shell whenÂ being connected or released. Neither the lever, which is completely cylindrical, nor the shell have any sharp edges. Therefore, ropes and slings do not come into contact with any edges which could cut or damage them.

Hot forging The latest technology in manufacturingÂ carabiners is when the aluminum alloy is heated to reach a plasticized state when being forged into the final shape. This allows the metal to be formed more easily so it can be moved to areas where it is needed and removed from the areas where it is not needed. In comparison with cold forged binners, the hot forged binners are lighter, more durable and stronger.

ACC POWER ASCENDER II Advantages with the ActSafe ACC power Ascender system The short set-up time involves that the work can be done in a manner that is quick, safe and less expensive than if performed with for example a sky lift. Clean and silent operation, ActSafe ACC is ideal for work and rescue indoors and in confined spaces. It is a light weight alternative to wire winches. The combination of the high lifting capacity and the sophisticated up/down control makes it perfect for lifting or dragging material and equipment. It is a versatile tool that can be used in places where it is impossible to use a sky lift or a powered platform.

Technical Data Ropes: The standard rope grab system allows static / semistatic rope 10-13 mm EN1891. The tactical rope grab system allows ropes from 7 to 9 mm. Max Working Load: The Safe Working Load (SWL) is 200kg. When used in a rescue situation with properly trained personnel the total load must not exceed 250 kg. However, if the load superseeds 265 kg, the overload is monitored electronically and the power is automatically switched off. Ascent and Descent Speed: The speed of ascent and descent can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 22 meters per minute. Speed and direction is controlled with one hand, you have always one hand free. If the battery runs out of power during ascent or descent the emergency descender can be used in order to get down. THE RANGE OF USE PFS are designed for: high and administrative buildings, schools, depots, docks, mining machines, hangars, silos, storage and factory buildings, fair palaces, shopping and sport centres, traffic terminals and many other buildings and facilities whose serviced is performed by human labour force.

INTRODUCTION OF THE SYSTEM Permanent fastening systems (PFS) function, above all, as the systems of preventive and active protection to the users who are in danger of caving in, sliding or falling to depth. PFS is preventive as well as active protection against falling for its users. It makes it possible for its users to move safely, adjust its position, ascend or descend, hang and do any other activities associated with their work. PFS is designed and constructed to catch a potentially falling user, which is done safely and in accordance with valid safety regulations of Czech Republic and European Union.

Durability of the PFS can be determined according to the durability of the building or structure on which they are placed. Handling the PFS is intuitive and easy. Every trained user is able to handle it routinely. All parts of the PFS can be replaced.

PFS can differ from each other depending on their type (vertical, horizontal etc.), design (cable, rail), utilization (adjusting position, hanging etc.), estimated number of users (at least 2 persons, maximum according to the investor’s demand or according to the capacity of the carrying structure, wall, attic etc.). It is therefore absolutely necessary to train the users before first using the system and also to make them familiar with the plan of operation and plan of evacuation. All the system components are made from stainless steel, steel with surface treatment or aluminium, which assures high endurance of the system against the atmospheric influence. Durability of the system is limited by durability of the building, regularity of checks and service.

SINGING ROCK is associate member of IRATA under number 101 since October 2009. IRATA, the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, was formed as a result of an initiative by a number of leading companies involved in industrial rope access techniques. The association’s main aim is to promote the development of rope access techniques and to ensure that its members work in a safe and effective manner. Full members of the association are subject to stringent entrance qualifications and audit to ensure that they meet IRATA’s requirements for quality assurance, safety, training and working practices. The benefits of these procedures and requirements are reflected in the very low level of accidents reported

SINGING ROCK, as the first one in Czech Republic, has decided to establish multifuncion POLYGON with multimedia classroom in order to improve the level of the rope access work training.

Nowadays SINGING ROCK offers the training for workers at a height in our two training centres POLYGON PONIKLÁ and POLYGON KLADNO:

After gathering some information and experience from other countries in which such training centres are commonly used, the working team was set up to ensure the preparation and implementation of this facility. The training centre POLYGON involves wide range of simulated situations such as: move on the roof with a variable declension, tree climbing, antenna masts, silo, scaffolding, high voltage masts and other construction suitable for practicing of working at a height. As the service of the trainings in POLYGON has grown, SINGING ROCK has decided to open another POLYGON training centre in KLADNO, Czech Republic. First training in our new training centre was done in summer 2011 and after the whole reconstruction of the building it will be second POLYGON specialized for the rope access work training in Czech Republic.

Ski lift or gondola evacuations utilize specialized rescue techniques and gear that must perform regardless of weather conditions. The success of evacuation operations begins with having the proper ski lift or gondola evacuation gear then hinges upon the instruction, training and practice of the operating personnel. If the ski lift equipment fails, the person in charge must evacuate passengers according to the evacuation plan. Evacuation of a ski lift requires specific techniques for movement along a cable. For maximum efficiency, these operations are led simultaneously by several independent teams. Evacuation is a team effort and requires perfect coordination by everyone involved. SINGING ROCK team cooperates with ski resorts all over Czech Republic to improve rescue methods and develop a new gear.

The hierarchy of fall protection rescue is simple: self-rescue by the worker who has fallen, assisted rescue by co-workers, and, if everything fails, calling the professional rescuers. A couple of notes: A facility should call for the professionals as soon as a worker takes a fall. Remember that the pros can always be turned around if our fallen worker is otherwise rescued. And assisted rescue by co-workers could consist of any of many means of assistance, from leaning out to hand a fallen worker a piece of rescue equipment or cranking the worker up or down to safety, even to using an on-site rescue squad utilizing professional rope rescue techniques. The rescue hierarchy: Evacuation and rescue systems can be categorize in following points: • self rescue (evacuation) by descent • rescue by lowering • rescue by hauling • rescue by descent - Evacuation by Tyrolean traverse... All methods require specific techniques and sort of equipment. Downward evacuation Easier to install, this is the preferred type of evacuation, when possible. Downward evacuation takes place using gravity, applying different techniques determined for specific types of field.
