Domaine de la Romanee-Conti is a very small vineyard, only 4 acres, and only produces about 5,000 bottles a year, but those 5,000 have a taste beyond comprehension. Rather than trying to describe the taste, it would simply suffice to say that a very good vintage will be 20 to 30 years old and will cost you no less than $900 a glass, or you can say about $3,600 a bottle.
