Matched with Hellenic wine, this five course feast is sure to provide an a evening to remember.

“My strongest memory of my γιαγιά (grandmother) is her er pulling up a chair at the kitchen table after having baked three trays of katimeri (sweet pastry with sugar and nd cinnamon). She would sit, remove her μαντιλιά (head scarf ) and unwind her long grey hair, which had turned a light shade of violet around her neck from wearing the scarf every day.” In this exciting new project, we’re asking people within the Greek community to share their personal stories of migration together with recipes that evoke special memories; village celebrations, family occasions and other loved moments in time. We use food to express love for family and friends. It is the unbreakable thread that weaves together generations of Greek families, neighbours and friends. The stories and recipes will be compiled into a beautiful book, offering a visual and written history of the undying memories and tightly held traditions of those who are inspired to take part in this project.
