SOMETHING ABOUT MAKE-UP

When they asked me to write an article about make-up, I thought about many things.

I could have talked about trends, products or some particular technique... But then I thought "What am i never been able to find on a classic paper/online magazine?!”, and in that moment my idea was born to share with you something that I learned at school and that I exploit in the workplace: the art of getting by. What do you mean? Very often social media, television, influencers and advertisements show us thousands of new c o s m e t i c products that we absolutely need! But I assure you that when you show up on a set you cannot take every single product in the world with you. The same thing also applies a little to travelers, for those who cannot invest too much in some products… We therefore try to obtain a total look with what we have available. H e r e a r e s o m e practical examples: do Riccardo Milone

you know your favorite lipstick? Try to apply it gently on the cheekbones and you obtain a personalized blush! Have you ever thought that with a simple taupe eyeshadow we can shade the eyelids, to fill the eyebrows but also to sculpt the face with a real powder contouring? Depending on the shade of the eyeshadow, you can also get an highlighter or a blush from it! During photo shoots, transparent lip gloss is often applied to the eyelids and cheekbones to obtain a very special effect! A secret for radiant skin is also to add some of your highlighter to a drop of moisturizer. Any lip balm when used together with a little eye shadow/blush/powder becomes an excellent shiny lipstick. With this article I don't want to imply that every product can be replaced!

I myself have a wide range of products in my kit, textures and colors! But I just want to invite you r e a d e r s t o ex p e r i m e n t a n d don’t limit yourself to what a label says y o u ( e x c e p t f o r contraindications and always using logic)!
