Photographer and collage artist works in the digital way of the new contemporary collage, combining a digital and hand made textures with photography and motion pictures (gif). In art-prints artist use the classical techniques like a silkscreen, author’s techniques of collage print, painting, mixed media and combines it with various digital forms.

When people think of an artist, most assume a background of entitlement, an art intensified education and a life of immersion into the creative industries. That tends to be the case, as most art forms are a luxury and those that manage to make it as professionals in the field normally have the support and opportunity to do so. That is not the case for Russian based artist, ANTON BUNDENKO. Unlike many of his colleagues Bundenko has not had a formal education in fine arts nor has he lived in a city that enabled him to connect with individuals in the field. Yet, he seems to have found a way to make himself known. Through the power of technology, he has shared his art work through social media and has managed to break through to a large international audience.

Looking at the elegant nature of his photography, it is hard to believe that for couple of months in the year, young photographer Anton Bundenko works as shot-firer, demolishing mountains for construction of tunnels and underground systems in hard to reach parts of Russia. Anton’s engineering background allows him to create a subjective vision of the world where figures are placed in abstract places and lights are showed in an atmospheric way. Call it melancholy of the youth, a “Russian soul” or aesthetic choice but there is something in his images that is unmistakably unique. @ DAZED DIGITAL - link to publication

Our love for mixed media art is well known by now, so this is why we couldn’t help but share photographer’s Anton Bundenko “Inversion” series. His fresh and progressive collages host girls lost in pastel paradise and graphic backgrounds, in a lighthearted surreal scene. @ TRENDLAND.COM - link to publication

That is exactly what we find when looking at photographer Anton Bundenko’s art works. In his editorials, he explains us everything we need to know about the trend by the atmosphere he builds. It’s not just about the clothes, it’s all about explaining an aesthetic sometimes coupled with a story. We could say fashion in his hands becomes part of the art piece. I love that he never leaves the main figure alone as he always fills the background with colorful paintings or pieces of different materials. @ FASHION156.COM - link to publication

New media art motion pictures video art, video tryptich interactive installation

2015

Interactive Video installation, visualization of dance performance The main project consists of several videos. Each video presents performance and dance visualization. The parts of the dance were created forehead by the artist and the dancer separately from each other; it consists of scenes, which were engineered in minds of the two on the basis of their meetings. They have been meeting once/twice a week for two months. During these meetings the artist and the dancer have been communicating with each other on different languages without help of the translator or anybody else. The communication happened through emotions and key words. During these meetings nothing had been planned and everything was spontaneous and happened by accident. The artist didn’t know anything about the structure of the dance and the dancer - anything about the process of filming or the music. There was no interaction between the two during the filming. As a result the audio support was represented by overlapping radio intercepts, representing accident on-line noise of interceptions of different services and number stations. The rhythm or any possibility of associations were excluded, the dance performance stayed authentic. There were filmed 9 video performances, which all together represent emotional landscape of the artist and the dancer, appeared on the basis of meetings and communication. These 9 videos are combined into one dance with evolvement , ideology, combined the lines and thoughts. During the final edit there was used practically minimal cutting. The audio support plays one of the biggest roles. 9 videos , projected on 9 screens at the same time are building up into a circle around the viewer. The video installations are screening at the same time and the viewer gets an overall picture of the hole process. The sound of each video is a direct beam, so there appears an overlap of all audios.
