From 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tiegerman, a school in Glen Cove that serves children PreK through 12 with developmental disabilities, will be hosting a food and wine tasting at 555 Northern Blvd. in Great Neck. There will be a babysitting course for teens from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library. Halloween Costume Brunch Buffet

The North Shore Kiwanis is hosting the second annual Kiwanis Dog Show. Born in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, the Oyster Bay Market is a biweekly market that operates on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the municipal lot of Audrey Avenue over by the bandstand (74 Audrey Ave.) The market is a food-driven market that also supports local small businesses, artisans, not for profits and community organizations. Deep Roots Farmers Market
Stop by Deep Roots Farmers Market, happening every Saturday through Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 100 Garvies Point Rd., to enjoy local artisans, foods and crafts. There will be 40 vendors every week offering locally grown produce, fresh fish, meat, dairy, eggs, honey, breads, baked goods, pastas, prepared foods and much more.
