Since I entered the Senate, I have fought to clean up Washington. I have prioritized being transparent and accountable to my constituents, and was the first member of Congress to post my public schedule, earmark requests and tax returns online. To make Washington work, we have to start by creating transparency and accountability. I will always fight for your family as hard as I fight for my own. That means fighting to create apprenticeship and job training programs, providing incentives for companies that pay workers good wages, ensuring that health insurance is a right and not a privilege, and creating a universal paid family leave law. www.kirstengillibrand. com
